With the conclusion of their morning meal, the king departed, followed by the gradual departure of the others. Damien amusedly observed Ramiel, who couldn't help but return the gaze.

"Hey there, bro," Damien greeted.

"Do you have something to address to me?" Ramiel inquired with a lethal stare.

"Don't expect me to answer that; I'm genuinely curious," replied Damien, turning his attention to Skylar. Smirking mischievously, he promptly vanished.

After the queen and her entourage left, leaving Derek and Ramiel behind, Ramiel rose to his feet and began to depart.

"Hold on, Ramiel," Derek spoke with a fawning tone. Ramiel froze in place and observed as Derek approached him.

"Why the sudden change of heart?" Derek questioned.

"Do you have a problem?" Ramiel retorted in a low tone.

"So, you do have a hidden motive for returning here?" Derek asked inquisitively.

"It appears your curiosity has been piqued. It's a surprise," Ramiel responded with a smirk as he exited the scene. Skylar trailed behind him, leaving Derek feeling frustrated.

Skylar followed behind Ramiel, her mind musing and wondering about their destination.

"It seems he's on bad terms with his brother. He appeared so composed while speaking. If this were a novel or a movie, he would certainly be the captivating male lead, and the other prince could very well be the villain," Skylar contemplated, a smile gracing her face. However, her expression quickly turned to shock as she suddenly locked eyes with Ramiel.

"Your Highness, I beg your pardon. I was lost in thought," she apologized.

"Lost in thought, I see. And what were you contemplating?" he inquired.

"Hmm,..."

"You heard me right?"

"Sorry Your Highness, it's nothing"

"Hmmm, I see I got a trustworthy, maid wow," he said with a hint of sarcasm.

'What should I do, am in trouble I lied to him maybe he has the power to detect lies' Skylar kneeled as she bowed.

"Forgive me, Your Highness," she said, but no reply so she looked up a bit and saw him staring at me confused with his mouth opened a little.

"Is there a problem your highness?" She asked and he ignored her and walked ahead. Skylar followed him behind.

'Would I be beheaded, I thought he gave me a second chance'

"Your Highness" Skylar raised her voice and placed her palm on her mouth instantly and Ramiel signed and looked back at her, he couldn't helpq but wonder whether Arya gave him a punishment or a maid. He pinned, her to the wall in a twinkle of an eye, Skylar almost stopped breathing as her eyes fled open in shock.

"Y-your Highness" she muttered a little

"What's the problem now " he said as he grabbed her waist.

"Someone might see us"

"See us?"

"Yes, it's inappropriate for a maid to be seen with a prince,"

"It's also inappropriate for a mere maid to be a pest to the prince, don't you think so" he said as his grip on her tightened.

"Forgive me," Skylar said with an apologetic look. Ramiel gazed at her as he ran his fingers up and down her arm sending a cold shiver ranking down her spine, He finally let go of her leaving Skylar flustered.

"I'll be in the studies," he said as he suddenly disappeared, In a twinkle of an eye he was no longer there. Skylar placed her palm on her chest, wondering what was wrong with her, It kept beating hard, she walked up the stairs and finally arrived at her room breathless. She sat on the bed, she was completely insane for thinking 💭 about all those, Why would he run his fingers down her arm? She touched her arm

"What's wrong with me Am I crazy," she said as she slapped herself "Ouch"

Skylar lay on her bed, facing up she couldn't stop herself from thinking about all she had gone through, would her life continue to be this peaceful?

Ramiel searched through some books in his library.

"What are you searching for Ramiel?" Damien asked

"Should that be a bother to you?" He asked.

"Of course not, Why didn't you kill her or do you suddenly have interest in her" Damien teased him.

"There's something mysterious about her, am grateful Arya took her in as my maid, though I don't need a maid but that's the only way to keep her by my side in other to know who she is"

"What do you suspect about her?" Damien asked seriously. Ramiel took out a book and sat on the seat opposite him.

"When I was about killing her I saw a mark on her neck It clearly showed she had been reincarnated from our world, The other day something was also off when I brought her here," he said, Damien looked at the book that he brought out.

'Secret behind reincarnation'

"She kept running until I met her I thought she was insane but when I read her mind something was off"

"What do you mean?" Damien

"She saw a portrait of a man burning in fire and you know who that is"

"Wow, that's kind of unrealistic and realistic, What should I do?"

"You know what to do," Ramiel said

"I didn't say I don't know either I'll be leaving, next time I'll get to read that book"

"Do you have an affair?" Ramiel asked concerning what he said to his father yesterday.

As Ramiel smiled, he muttered, "Well, certainly not intending to tie the knot, neither in the near future nor at any point in life." With a smirk on his face, he departed, eliciting the remark, "What a jerk."
