C1 Don't Worry Baby!

The night sky was filled with neon lights, and the entire Pineview was overflowing with colorful lights.

"Ye Yu." In the private clubhouse, a slim and graceful woman looked at the man with seductive eyes.

"Chasel, when are you going to tell her about our relationship?"

"Don't worry, baby. I'll tell her right away when she gets the information." Chasel said as he turned around and trapped the woman.

Gisela held Chasel with both her hands. "But she's really slow. I can't wait anymore. I feel like I'm going to die..."

"Don't talk nonsense!" Chasel interrupted Gisela. "Just be patient. Can a cooked duck run away? As long as I say it, that stupid woman will do it right away."

"I knew you had the best idea." As she spoke, Gisela kissed Chasel on the cheek and pretended to be coquettish. She said sweetly, "Do you think I'm better or she is?"

"Baby, this is a very depressing question."

"I want to hear it." Gisela said coquettishly.

"Of course it's you! That stupid woman, she pretended to be elegant in front of me, saying that she wanted to do it on the night of the wedding. How ridiculous and stupid! In front of me, she's just a clown!"

When Gisela heard this, she stole a glance at the recording pen in the vase in front of the bed and smiled with satisfaction.

"Achoo!" Serafina pulled out a tissue and rubbed her nose.

"What's wrong? Did you catch a cold?" His colleague, Cyril, asked caringly.

"No, it might be the dust that irritated her." Serafina was afraid that her colleagues would be worried, so she revealed a sweet smile.

Cyril said to Serafina, "Do you know that Director Milton hates women?"

Serafina deliberately pretended to be dumb. "That's right, I also find it strange. Why does Director Milton hate women so much?"

The employees of the Milton Group and even the cleaning lady knew that Finlay did not like women approaching him. Other than the secretary Harvey who was inseparable from him, there was only Cyril, the male assistant. Before her, all the assistants were men.

Everyone was guessing whether Finlay had a strange habit of hating women who were close to him. The female employees even privately gossiped about Finlay's life and even named him the boss of the CEO and the daily life of those warm-hearted men.

"Hey." Cyril glanced around and lowered his voice, "I heard Secretary Mitchell say that Director Milton had a disease in his physiology, so …"

Serafina looked at her colleague in surprise. She opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but swallowed it back down. Cyril nodded in understanding, "I knew you wouldn't believe me. Actually, I don't believe it either. I told you about it alone. Maybe I heard it wrong that day …"

"What are you mumbling about when you aren't working?" Harvey scolded.

The two of them were startled by the scolding, but they quickly reacted. Seeing the person behind Harvey, the two of them quickly stood up and said in unison, "Director Milton, good!"

Finlay slowly walked over with a pair of long, slender legs. She glanced at Harvey and then at Serafina.

Finlay saw this and did not say anything. He walked into the office with his legs crossed. Harvey held a portfolio in his hand and opened his mouth, making a helpless sound. Serafina smiled apologetically.

Harvey laid down lazily on the sofa. The five hours of meeting almost took his life. He rubbed his waist as he threw the folder in his hand onto the table.

Finlay made tea and sat opposite him. Harvey glanced at the tea and then at Finlay. Finlay's expression was calm. He ignored the pleading look in Harvey's eyes. Harvey sat up and picked up the cup of tea.

"Finlay, can you understand my hard work?" Harvey complained.

"No."

Harvey rolled his eyes and took out a document. He handed it over to Finlay.

"I'll leave this project to you. There's no need to ask for my opinion."

Harvey had no choice but to take back the documents. After being with Finlay for so many years, he could guess what he was going to do with just a glance. Finlay was not interested in this project, but due to his grandfather, Trad, and the chairman's orders, he reluctantly agreed to compete for this project.

"Oh yeah, are you satisfied with the female assistant I've recruited?"

Finlay put down the white porcelain teacup and said indifferently, "I don't hate her."

Harvey smiled knowingly. Finlay hated women, so the assistants and secretaries around him were all men.

After a while, his grandfather became unhappy and ordered Harvey to find a female assistant to ease Finlay's heart. At first, Finlay was still in a bad mood and refused to accept it. Later on, he was forced to agree by his grandfather's methods of eating and committing suicide.

However, because of Finlay's harsh requirements, he had to look for her for half a year. It was only until the appearance of Serafina that she finally got close to him.

"Is there anyone who has ever seen a female assistant who has to list out thirty-two standards? If you are not satisfied, I'm afraid you can only go to Mars."

Finlay smiled bitterly as he listened to Harvey's tirade. It wasn't that he was being pretentious. He had tried it before, but it was a pity that whenever a woman came close to him, he would feel uncomfortable all over his body. Sometimes, he would feel nauseous.

Actually, he was also puzzled as to why he did not hate Serafina and did not reject her when she approached him during work.

In the bathroom, Serafina gripped her phone tightly and lowered her voice. "Tonight, I want to see you."

"Alright, at seven o'clock in the evening, remember coffee..."

Serafina hurriedly interrupted Chasel. "No, the small playground near the district will do."

Chasel was stunned for two seconds before he agreed and hung up the phone.
