C12 Three Wishes

"Director Milton, you..."

Serafina looked at Finlay in disbelief. Was this soup made by him?

But why? Was Finlay planning to give her a sweet date first and then make her shed tears of gratitude for her crimes?

"I'm just bored." Finlay's gaze was indifferent as he glanced at the shocked Serafina and said casually.

"Haha..." This was an answer that no one could refute.

"Speak! What is it?" Finlay said slowly after seeing that Serafina had finished drinking the soup.

Serafina was startled. She put down the bowl and took a deep breath. She silently encouraged herself in her heart. Since she had decided to confess, she shouldn't be afraid.

"Director Milton, after I rescued you from the crazy woman in the hospital that day, you said that you would grant me three wishes. Are you serious?"

Serafina tried to probe Finlay first. Although she had decided to confess, she needed a guarantee to ensure the safety of Chasel.

She had said that this was the last thing she would do for Chasel!

Finlay raised his eyes to look at Serafina. That was right. That morning, when he saw that Serafina had finally woken up, he had no idea what he was thinking. He casually told her that he would do his best to fulfill her three wishes to repay her for saving his life.

"Yes, I did." Finlay recovered and looked at Serafina.

Seeing that Finlay had agreed to her request, Serafina's uneasy mood finally calmed down.

"Hey, Director Milton, what I'm going to say next will make you very angry, so much so that you might want to kill me. But I want to ask you to promise me that you won't blame or even deal with the person I am talking about. This is my first wish!"

Finlay's eyebrows knitted together. What else could this woman say? Why don't I understand? Shouldn't she explain why she didn't put on her umbrella when she went out in the rain?

"Director Milton, I'm sorry. I stole that plan. I betrayed you. I did everything by myself. If you want to arrest me, then just arrest me. It has nothing to do with anyone else."

Serafina's heart skipped a beat. She spoke extremely quickly.

The atmosphere was silent, cold, and terrifying.

Finlay did not say anything for half a day. Serafina could not take this kind of silence anymore. Her body could not help but tremble.

"Director, Director Milton..."

Serafina felt a pain behind her back. When she came back to her senses, Finlay had already grabbed her by the neck and held her firmly.

The sofa was made of bamboo wood, and the back was pressed against the corner of the sofa. Serafina was almost in tears.

It was suffocating, dizzy, and dark.

Serafina was still struggling at first, but as her consciousness slowly faded, she slowly gave up struggling and allowed Finlay to hold her.

The veins on Finlay's hand bulged. His face was extremely gloomy. He wished he could choke the woman in front of him to death!

Why? Why was it her? Why did this woman, who he had never rejected and was not overly sensitive, betray him?!

Serafina's face gradually turned purple, and her eyes rolled back. Finlay stared at her. Tears flowed out of the corner of her eyes due to the suffocation. Finlay suddenly came back to his senses and released her.

Although his hands had left Serafina's neck, his body had not left. His hands were firmly pressed on Serafina's shoulders.

Serafina, who had finally regained her breath, immediately took two deep breaths to make herself feel better.

She looked at Finlay's clear eyes with a dazed expression. For a second, she felt as if she was dead.

Finlay breathed hot air into Serafina's pure face.

"Why?" Finlay's voice was like a thousand-year-old ice, and his words were bone-chilling.

"I, I am..."

I am Chasel's girlfriend, but I can't say it out loud.

The grief of the past few days mixed with the suffocating feeling of near death, causing Serafina's heart to ache. She couldn't help but cry.

The woman under him had a tender face and pure eyes. Her slightly messy clothes and dry hair gave off a faint fragrance. No matter how she looked at it, she gave off a feeling that would make one's heart beat faster.

The restlessness in his heart urged Finlay to increase the strength in his hand. Serafina gasped. The wound on her injured arm started to rupture again.

Serafina frowned in pain. She looked like a pitiful and weak woman who was being slaughtered by others. Finlay's face darkened. He hated this woman's pitiful appearance.

The setting sun shone into the room, dragging the shadows of the two people on the sofa. Finlay's dark eyes glowed with a dark light. He suddenly lowered his head and bent over.

Serafina was shocked. She ignored the pain in her hands and pushed Finlay's chest with both hands. Finlay immediately grabbed Serafina's struggling hands.

Finlay was allergic to women. She had never touched a woman's hand since she was young, but now, she seemed to have mastered it.

Serafina could only open her eyes wide and stare at Finlay with no other choice.

Finlay's gaze was sharp as he met Serafina's angry gaze, but he did not seem to have any intention of stopping.

Serafina's heart was filled with mixed feelings. She was really stupid. Why didn't she pick a place with more people to tell him? That way, she wouldn't be at a loss.

Finlay roared in his heart, "Damn it!"

She struggled with all her might to refuse Finlay.

Finlay seemed to be certain that she would not let go.

Serafina had no other choice. Tears flowed out of her eyes. She was done for. Was she going to lose the things that she had been treasuring for the past twenty-three years?

Silent tears shot into Finlay's eyes. He was shocked and immediately woke up. He slowly released Serafina.

Serafina immediately struggled to get up after getting an opening. She curled up to a corner of the sofa.

The room returned to silence once again. Only the clock on the wall tinkled. Although Serafina was afraid, she did not dare to make a sound.

Twenty minutes passed, and Finlay finally regained his composure. He intentionally ignored his previous loss of self-control, but he could not wipe away the fear and redness on his face.

Finlay stared at the teacup in front of him. His voice was hoarse and low as he slowly said, "Serafina, what did you give me to betray the company?!"

The sky gradually darkened. The room was exceptionally quiet. Finlay's gaze darkened as he turned around to look at the person in the corner of the sofa who had not replied to him.

"My patience is limited!"

There seemed to be a ball of anger in Finlay's eyes. He looked at the person in the corner of the dark with displeasure.

Finlay was completely out of patience. He reached out and pulled Serafina over. Serafina's body was unstable and she leaned forward on Finlay's body.
