I told the slaves to sit in the back seat and invited Sarah to sit in the front. We reached the car and we put the knapsacks in the trunk and everyone took a seat.

"I don't want to bother with preparing food tonight," I said. "I was thinking of going through a drive through on our way home. Any suggestions?"
