I reluctantly left her alone in my room, after Alex linked me.

" It's better to be something important, Alex," I said through the link. He didn't respond to anything.

Walking through the hall, I reached the stairs. My mind went back into my room where I left her alone. I knew that she was afraid of me but never knew she would be horrified to even look at me.
