I didn't have the connection yet but I knew he was the one. He was pissed that I had taken away his position and given it to Harold. He sent his people to try to kill me.

"Are you sure?" Maxine asked. I could see the doubt written all over her face.

"Well, no. But new information will be coming in tomorrow. So, hopefully, they found the culprit and can bring him to book." I said
