Gu Fanjin watched as Tan Chenxi placed two pieces of fatty meat into her bowl. She shot him a sharp look, but he kept his head down, focused on his meal. With both Mrs. Han and Mr. Tan present, Gu Fanjin reluctantly picked up the pieces of meat, hesitating before finally taking a bite.

"Fanjin, is my cooking not to your liking?" Mrs. Han asked, noticing her hesitation. Hearing this
