C24 His Woman

"Lu Jingshen from the Lu's Group is here!"

The noisy crowd suddenly opened up a path while everyone turned their heads in surprise and saw a tall and slender figure slowly walked through the crowd.

Jing Ning was shocked beyond belief, causing her pupils contracted.

The man moved nimbly, his steps were extremely fast, yet he did not seem to be in a hurry. He had thick straight eyebrows and star-like eyes, his pupils were dark like an ink pool. Yet, they looked cold and emitting a cold aura as if an ice age had arrived, no one dared to approach him.

Other than Su Mu who was followed behind him, there were a few bodyguards in black suits at the door without entering the hall.

Only Su Mu passed the congratulatory gift to one of the patrons beside him, then followed him inside.

"Lu Jingshen! It's really him. What is he doing here?"

Someone among the crowd murmured in a low voice. Only then the others seemed to have just realized what was going on, and they were startled by what they saw.

Most of the people who attended today were people with high social status. Therefore, even if they had not seen Lu Jingshen in person, they had seen him either in the magazines or the television.

Thus, almost everyone recognized the man in front of them instantly.

The heir of the Lu's's tycoon! The true ruler of Lu's Group!

He was the founder of Ann Ning International, the entertainment company which had the most tendency recently.

Why is he here?

Wang Xuemei was the first person who came back to her senses and instantly went forward to greet him delightfully.

"Welcome, President Lu! Please come in!"

Jing Xiaode and Yu Xiulian saw and quickly followed behind her with faces full of smiles.

"I didn't know that President Lu would be coming over. I'm really sorry for the neglect!"

The Jing Family sent an invitation to Lu Jingshen just the formality, not knowing he would attend.

Everyone knew that although President Lu had come to Jin City recently, he refused to attend any social gatherings. None of the high social status people was able to invite him.

Countless people had already been rejected by him, so the Jing Family naturally would not think that they would be an exception.

Unexpectedly, he actually attended the banquet today!

Wang Xuemei and the others were overjoyed, and Jing Ning was also thrilled.

Lu Jingshen, save me!

She parted her mouth and shouted voicelessly.

Chen Yongda noticed her emotions, causing his face to sunk.

"Thinking that he will save you? Dream on! Why don't you look at your status, not to mention the Jing Family, even the Moo Family are no match for Lu Jingshen. And do you know what others said about him?"

Chen Yongda sneered and continued, "Everyone says he's gay and dislike women. The women who tried to crawl into his bed has already been thrown into the Lijiang River, so stop being delusional!"

As he spoke, he dragged Jing Ning and was about to walk towards the elevator.

With that, Jing Ning became extremely anxious.

She lowered her head, opened her mouth, and bit the back of his hand.

Although she had been drugged and her body was limp and weak, the was still some strength remained.

Furthermore, she saw the only hope before her eyes, how could she not struggle with all her might?

Chen Yongda never thought that she would still dare to resist at moment like this.

He was caught off guard and bitten by her! He cried out in pain and loosened his grip, enabled the woman in his arms to escape.

"Ugh! Bitch! How dare you bite me? Stop right there!"

With a loud shout, before anyone could react, a black shadow flashed past their eyes and pounced straight at the man standing at the entrance of the hall.

Lu Jingshen had already strode forward and grabbed Jing Ning before her legs went limp and fell to the ground.

With that, the delicate figure fell into his embrace.

Everyone was shocked beyond belief.

Oh my! Who's that?

Eh? Isn't that Jing Ning? How dare she touch Lu Jingshen?

Everyone knew that Lu Jingshen hated women the most!

In all the years in the business world, no one had ever heard of him being close with any woman. Besides, in order to please him, there were people who send many famous celebrities to his bed, yet they were all rejected. The worst was that some females even went missing!

Therefore, it was impossible for such a person to have interest in women!

Many women who were present secretly adored Lu Jingshen, but none of them dared to step forward to confess their feelings. The moment they saw Jing Ning pounced onto him, their eyes widened.

Then, they became extremely furious.

Damn it! She's too shameless!

Her boyfriend is still there, and she dared to seduce another man. Is she sick of living?

Jing Ning, on the other hand, was held in Lu Jingshen's arms. When she scented the familiar fragrance from his body, she almost cried tears of joy.

She felt as if she had just escaped death, grabbing Lu Jingshen's clothes tightly, just like she was grabbing onto her last life-saving straw with her body kept on trembling.

Lu Jingshen's pupils contracted as his eyes turned cold.

Recalled back to what he had heard outside, he naturally understood what had happened.

He reached out his hand and gently patted the woman's thin back, squinting his eyes as he stared coldly at the man opposite him.

Chen Yongda was walking towards them but when he saw Jing Ning curled up in his arms, his face turned pale.

Same went to Wang Xuemei, she was afraid that she would offend Lu Jingshen, so she hurriedly explained.

"President Lu, I'm really sorry. This is my granddaughter. She was drunk and lost her composure. I'll get someone to take her away immediately."

As she spoke, she snapped, "Young Master Chen, can't you even look after your own girlfriend? She threw herself at another man in front of so many people. Do you think it's appropriate?"

Chen Yongda stepped forward and said coldly, "Jing Ning, come here! Don't wrinkled Young Master Lu's clothes!"

Jing Ning remained hiding in Lu Jingshen's arms, causing Wang Xuemei to frown.

She then sighed helplessly.

"This girl... haih! Blame me for not educated her well! Not to mention drinking always but on such an occasion... haih! Now, she has become a laughing stock in others' eyes! Young Master Chen, go and get her back! "

Just as Chen Yongda was about to make a move, Lu Jingshen suddenly spoke in a cold voice.

"Don't you dare try to touch her!"

Everyone had a shock of their life.

They stared at him in disbelief, as if they could not believe that he was the one who said that.

Lu Jingshen smirked and looked directly at Wang Xuemei, "Madame Jing, whose girlfriend did you say she is?"

Wang Xuemei was taken aback, subconsciously felt that something was wrong, but she did not fully get what he meant.

She could only answer instinctively, "She's Young Master Chen's girlfriend. This is Second Young Master from Shengda Group-"

"Heh!"

A sneer interrupted her introduction.

Lu Jingshen's voice was as cold as ice, and his eyes were like a bottomless pool of darkness, saying word by word, "Why didn't I know that my wife has become this scumbag's girlfriend?"

All the guests' jaws dropped and were at loss of words.

Wang Xuemei was left speechless.

Same went to Chen Yongda, "..."

What did he just say?

There seemed to be problems with their ears, causing them not to hear clearly!

Jing Ning is Lu Jingshen's wife?

How is this possible?!

Too many people were shocked, therefore, when Wang Xuemei spoke, most of them were still in a daze.

"Young Master Lu, could you be mistaken? She's just an ordinary little girl and you're also out of her league!"

Lu Jingshen let out a sneer.

"Ordinary? Why don't I think so? My wife has always been as dazzling as a pearl, it's just that some blind people couldn't see her outstanding side!"

Wang Xuemei was once again left speechless.

At this moment, Chen Yongda noticed that something was wrong, rolling his eyes and tried to sneak away when no one was looking.

However, just as he reached the entrance of the hall, he was stopped by Su Mu.

He looked up and saw an elite secretary with a smiling face, "Young Master Chen, where are you going? Don't you still want your girlfriend?"
