C45 His Lips Were Swollen!
After taking a shower and even drying her long hair, Shen Geyao leisurely stepped out of the bathroom. As soon as she entered the room, she sensed an unusual atmosphere, a presence so strong it was impossible to ignore, right there on the couch.
Looking up, Shen Geyao was startled to see Li Chenyu sprawled out on her sofa. His long legs were propped up on the coffee table, and he leaned back against the couch with his eyes closed. It was hard to tell if he was asleep or just resting.
If she could avoid it, Shen Geyao really didn’t want to disturb this wolf. But this was her room, and she couldn’t let him spend the night here.
She walked over and softly called, “Uncle.”
There was no response; he seemed genuinely asleep. She had only been in the bathroom for about half an hour, and somehow, he had come in and fallen asleep.
“Uncle!” Shen Geyao called again, a bit louder this time.
Still no reaction. As she got closer, she could even hear his faint snoring. He was really asleep!
This jerk, why didn’t he go back to his own room to sleep? What was he doing here?
“Uncle, wake up.” She really didn’t want to wake him; waking him was like waking a sleeping lion.
But how could she get him out without waking him up? Was she supposed to drag him to the door and just shut it behind him? That might actually work.
"Uncle, wake up. This isn't your room." Finally, Shen Geyao abandoned the dreadful idea. If she tossed Ninth Master out the door, she was sure she'd face his wrath once he woke up. The man could hold a grudge!
"Uncle," she called again.
Suddenly, the man opened his sharp, hawk-like eyes and pulled her over, flipping her beneath him in one swift motion. Shen Geyao barely registered how she ended up on the floor. In the blink of an eye, he had her pinned.
His piercing eyes closed again, and Liang Chenyu's head rested heavily on her chest, his breathing deep and heavy. How much had he drunk? He seemed genuinely intoxicated.
Shen Geyao struggled to push him off, but he was really heavy, pressing down on her chest to the point where she could barely breathe.
"Uncle, can you get up for a second? I can hardly breathe."
She gasped for air, thinking he could use a diet! Of course, Liang Chenyu wasn't overweight; it was his solid, muscular build that felt unbearably heavy.
"Uncle," she tried again.
"If you don't want to do anything else, just let me rest for a bit," he murmured, his voice raspy, spilling from his well-shaped lips.
Shen Geyao swallowed her words of resistance, but her hands remained on his shoulders, trying to push him away. He had clearly drunk a lot, and his breath was heavy with the smell of alcohol, almost intoxicating her as well. Finally, Liang Chenyu, who had been still until now, slightly tilted his head. It seemed he just realized what he was leaning on, and his alcohol-clouded eyes blinked. His brows furrowed slightly as he propped himself up a bit and looked down at her. His gaze was still somewhat unfocused, but as a thought crossed his mind, his demeanor suddenly turned cold and stern.
With a sudden tug, he completely tore open Shen Geyao's nightgown. Grabbing her firmly, he demanded angrily, "Did he touch you tonight?"
Shen Geyao was caught off guard. The man who had been quietly asleep moments ago was suddenly furious. But with her body completely under his control, she had no room to struggle. She glanced down, shocked and angry, nearly fainting from the fright he gave her. She could only take a shaky breath, biting her lip, and urgently said, "Liang Chenyu, what are you doing? Let go!"
"I'm asking you a question. Did he touch you?" Liang Chenyu's voice was cold and hard, matching the anger in his eyes, and it was terrifying.
"I'm really angry, you know? Why does he always act so recklessly with me?" Shen Geyao bit her lip and said coldly, "So what if he has? I'm his girlfriend!"
She refused to let him have his way. This man was always so proud, so untouchable, never allowing anyone to challenge him. But she didn't want him to be so full of himself. She wanted to make things difficult for him.
Liang Chenyu was indeed provoked by her words, thoroughly angered this time. His deep, starry eyes took on a dangerous, animalistic glint as he narrowed them.
Suddenly, Shen Geyao felt a pang of regret. Had she really pushed him too far? Before she could think further, she felt a tight grip around her waist, and he flipped her over.
With a ripping sound, she felt a sudden chill. Shen Geyao was terrified. It was just a thoughtless remark; she never imagined he would react like this.
Pinned down, she couldn't move at all. Behind her, she heard the sound of a belt being unbuckled.
Panicked, Shen Geyao cried out, "No! He didn't! He didn't! I was lying!"
Now she realized the seriousness of the situation. This man didn't joke around; not a single word of this kind should be uttered. He was so domineering, and when he was like this, he didn't care where they were or if someone might walk in.
"I'm just kidding, Ninth Master! He didn't touch me, don't be like this!"
Shen Geyao always felt like she was on the chopping block whenever she was near Liang Chenyu.
"Ouch, that hurts!"
She clutched the sofa cushion tightly, unable to hold back a whimper from the pain.
When Liang Chenyu turned her over, tears were already welling up in her eyes.
Her petite frame couldn't handle it, and she blinked her large, tear-filled eyes, looking at him pitifully.
"He didn't, really, he didn't."
"His lips are swollen!" Just thinking about Liang Xinghao's swollen lips made Liang Chenyu's eyes flare with anger.
At that moment, Liang Chenyu was like a stubborn, willful child.
Shen Geyao choked up, finally remembering something, and hurried to explain, "It was the tea that scalded him."
He thought there was something between her and Liang Xinghao.
Even though she didn't feel the need to explain herself to him—after all, who was he to her?—in this situation, it was better not to make him angry.
"He said he felt sick from drinking too much, so I poured him a cup of tea. The tea was too hot, and he drank it too quickly, so he got burned."
He still held her tightly beneath him, but his movements stopped. His eyes, clouded with the haze of alcohol, stared at her intently. "You're not lying to me?"
"No, I'm not." If she had even a bit of strength to resist him, she wouldn't have given in so easily. But now, she had no choice but to surrender. "Really, I'm not. Otherwise, why would I leave so quickly? Are the men in your family really that lacking?"
