C15 It Was a Mistake!

The three of them walked together and appeared in the hospital's cafeteria. The cafeteria was where the medical staff would come to eat. There were indeed hundreds of people in the hospital.

However, the doctors' mealtimes were not fixed, so not all the doctors were present at the time. It was almost 12 o'clock, so there weren't many people. The three of them finished their food and sat down to eat.

After a while, the legendary female lead finally appeared.

Adelaide did not expect to see Allie so soon. She wanted to see how different this person was from the person she knew three years ago. She had already asked around about him. He was very popular in the hospital. Wasn't he just relying on his pretty face?

Although she admitted that she was still okay, she might just be able to look at him from afar.

She held her plate and slowly approached the target.

Malcolm lowered his head and said softly, "Since you're here, you have to be prepared!"

Winnie glanced at the woman. What kind of woman was she? She was so arrogant and had already set Nick as her target. She sat down beside Malcolm and said, "Dr. Tyler, don't mind. I'll join you."

She was quite friendly.

Malcolm said with a serious expression, "Yes."

Winnie and Nick knew what kind of personality he had. He was just pretending to be serious in front of new people.

"Hello, I am the newcomer to the Pediatrics Department, Adelaide. Please give me some advice." Adelaide introduced herself.

Nick nodded. Winnie continued to eat her rice with disdain. Obviously, she was not interested in her arrival. Adelaide could see the hostility in her eyes, as if she wanted to swallow her.

What was she trying to pull? She was just eating more salt than she had eaten in two years.

After eating two mouthfuls of rice, Adelaide raised her head and looked at Nick. "Dr. Nick, do you have a girlfriend?"

She was really annoying.

Winnie coughed. Malcolm turned his head and glanced at Adelaid; did she need to be so exaggerated? She had only said one sentence. Was she that sensitive?

"I don't have any plans to find a girlfriend." After Nick finished speaking, he took the plate and left. Adelaide looked at him, as if he was trying to avoid her.

Winnie immediately followed him. "You are asking for it!"

Adelaide turned her head to look at Malcolm and said, "Dr. Tyler, is there a problem?"

"I don't want you to waste your time on personal feelings. You should think about how to treat the patient instead!" Malcolm stood up and lectured her in a senior's manner.

However, he was just asking about his background. Why was there a problem?

Adelaide was puzzled. She continued to eat the chicken legs on her plate with relish.

She pondered about the fact that Nick had no plans to find a partner. In other words, what about Allie? She had fallen into a pit three years ago, and now she was going to fall into it again? Allie, oh Allie, what was so good about you? You look like you don't care about anyone. You don't look handsome at all.

Soon, the news that Nick was being chased by a new pediatrician spread throughout the entire department. The young nurse looked at Nick with a strange look in her eyes. Some people even bumped into the pediatric department and wanted to take a look at the female protagonist.

However, Nick didn't care at all. He continued to work.

Adelaide, on the other hand, was not in a good place.

After returning from the cafeteria, the nurse pulled her over and asked, "Adelaide, are you ready to start? Do you want to start with a good start?"

"What do you mean?"

The young nurse, Lessie, said to her, "Aren't you chasing Nick from the Cardiothoracic Department?"

"Ah?" She didn't expect to make such a big mistake. No wonder the two of them stared at her at noon. "I was blind to chase after him. Who would like this kind of emotionless robot?"
