C7 It Was Recovered!

When Allie saw him turn around, she did not expect them to meet in such a way. It was completely different from what she had expected.

When Nick came up the mountain, he stood at the door and organized his thoughts. When he saw the scene in front of him, he frowned and smiled. The girl in the straw hat was holding a basket filled with red tomatoes.

The sweat on her face was dripping down, and her rosy face seemed to surpass the tomatoes.

He did not have time to find a charger in the past two days, so of course, he did not contact the owner of the phone.

However, he was so surprised to meet her again.

Allie’s heart skipped a beat. She could not count how many times she had skipped a beat. She clenched the edge of the basket tightly, and her fingertips turned white. This strength reminded her that this was not a dream.

He actually came here?

He barged into her world without any warning.

Then, Allie immediately lowered her head and squatted down. She put the basket aside and started to pick up the fallen vegetables.

Nick walked over and squatted down as well. He stretched out his hand, and the shiny light fell on his hands. His fingers were clear and beautiful. His hands were white and clean. When his hands landed on the green beans, they looked like a fine piece of art.

Allie said nervously, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Nick had already guessed that there would be a girl who would come to pick up the phone from time to time. He had heard his grandfather praise her, and she was the young doctor who had helped him in the clinic.

He took the bean curd and vegetables from her hand and held her basket. Allie felt a sense of familiarity.

"That day... I'm sorry..." Nick looked at her.

Allie raised her eyes and asked, "Ah?"

"I was delayed by something. I went to the milk tea shop, but you left. After that, my phone ran out of battery. I couldn't contact you!" Nick explained.

He didn't expect such a coincidence that she was in his grandfather's clinic.

Allie's eyes suddenly lit up. She had been depressed because she had lost her phone for the past few days. He was the one who had picked it up.

Her heart was screaming, "Oh, heavens!"

"You picked up my phone?" She was surprised and happy. She laughed at herself. She had always thought that the person who had picked up her phone was a liar.

Nick nodded. "Yes, it fell into the ambulance. But I forgot to bring it with me today. I'll send it over to you later."

It was an accident.

They actually had such a connection.

Allie was immersed in her own incredulity. He saw that she was silent and raised his eyebrows. "I still need to go now..."

"No need, no need. The clinic has a phone. I'm not in a hurry. If it's empty, then it's fine. I'll go find you when I have time." Allie quickly replied. She had nothing to worry about over there.

It was good that Nick wanted to go.

"I work in the Cardiology Department of the City Hospital. You can go there to find me." Nick told her.

"So... you are the grandson of Dr. Delgado?" Allie thought for a while. The reason why Clement told her that his grandson had come to the City Hospital to work as a doctor was because he wanted to work in the Cardiology Department.

Nick nodded, "Yes."

Normally, Clement would often mention him, but she did not know that he was actually the "him." Whenever she thought about it, she would be overjoyed and her hand would return to her.
