C3 He Was Injured

In the blink of an eye, Edi and Yang Chuxia exchanged several rapid moves, with Edi's speed noticeably quicker than before! Yang Chuxia was forced into several physical collisions with him, each impact causing her bones to crackle audibly.

She was fiercely stubborn, fully aware she was outmatched but unwilling to concede, no matter how much pain she endured. She doggedly searched for Edi's weaknesses, determined to turn the tables.

After several clashes, Edi couldn't help but admire her resilience as she bit down hard, refusing to give in. He softened the force behind his punches and offered, "If you admit defeat, I'll stop attacking."

Yang Chuxia clenched her teeth and retorted, "You admit defeat, and I'll stop too."

"Are you even grown up?" Edi nearly burst into laughter at her childlike innocence.

Yang Chuxia's face darkened at the insinuation of being childish.

The soldiers watching had realized early on that Yang Chuxia wasn't as strong as Edi, yet they respected her endurance in the prolonged battle without being taken down. They vocally rooted for her with great enthusiasm.

Yag bellowed, "Hang in there, shorty! Just five more minutes and you'll break the record for standing up to General Edi for fifteen minutes. You'll be the first among our women soldiers. Keep it up! You got this..."

As his words echoed, the crowd joined in, "Go shorty! Keep it going! Hang in there..."

Hearing this, Yang Chuxia felt a surge of energy. That's right, even in defeat, she wanted to go down with grace and maybe even set a new record for the longest fight against Edi.

A hint of amusement flickered in Edi's eyes as he intentionally slowed his pace.

In the midst of the countdown, as they crossed paths, Yang Chuxia heard General Edi's deep, magnetic voice close to her ear, "Letting you break the record is my way of apologizing."

His warm, soft lips grazed her ear, sending a shock through her like an electric current, buzzing in her ear and numbing half her face!

Caught off guard, Edi seized her waist and thighs, hoisting her high before gently setting her down on the Fighting Platform.

The time was perfect—exactly five minutes. Cheers of "Oh yeah!" erupted across the Fighting Field.

Yang Chuxia glared at Edi, who was smiling with a knowing look, and said angrily, "You cheated. Otherwise, I could have held out longer!"

Edi covered his mouth with a fist, his blue eyes twinkling with amusement as he whispered, "Cheated? How exactly did I cheat?"

Flushed with anger, Yang Chuxia couldn't very well admit that the general had deliberately brushed his lips against her ear, causing her to lose focus and be easily captured. That would be too humiliating!

She yelled defiantly, "I haven't lost yet. As long as I can stand, I haven't been defeated." With that, she leaped up and aimed a punch at Edi's nose.

The onlookers watched in surprise. They all knew that she was still standing only because General Edi had been merciful and hadn't thrown her out. Yet Yang Chuxia showed no appreciation!

A look of astonishment crossed Edi's face. Caught off guard, he quickly leaned back to avoid Yang Chuxia's punch. But in her frustration, she didn't follow the usual tactics and, missing Edi with her punch, ended up lunging at him.

As Edi was leaning back, Yang Chuxia's sudden lunge threw him off balance. He staggered backward several steps before steadying himself and growled in annoyance, "Have you lost your mind? Get off!"

Yang Chuxia clung to Edi like an orangutan, wrapping her limbs around him and biting down on General Edi's neck.

The crowd was dumbfounded! Who would have expected such a wild turn of events on the Fighting Platform?

Enraged, Edi grabbed Yang Chuxia's arms and forcefully pulled her off, flinging her onto the Fighting Platform with a resounding thud, sending her sliding over twenty meters away!

Yang Chuxia felt as if all her organs had been shattered. Blood poured from her mouth as she blacked out.

The entire audience rose to their feet, and a deathly silence fell over the Fighting Field. Faces were etched with horror!

A Medical Robot and two nurses quickly made their way to the scene. Upon seeing Yang Chuxia, one nurse exclaimed, "Oh my god! It's Dr. Yang!"

The other nurse, stammering, addressed Edi, "General, the doctors in the squad are exempt from military training. Beating her like this is a violation of military discipline."

The crowd on the scene was left speechless! It turned out that the individual of short stature was not a soldier but a doctor, putting General Edi in quite a predicament!

In total, there were over three hundred new recruits, organized into teams of twelve. Since everyone had only been there for three days, they all assumed Yang Chuxia belonged to a different team and were unaware that she was actually a doctor. It's no wonder they were confused; she had never been seen in the Medical Room.

Edi's face soured instantly. Damn it! How could he have overlooked the possibility of a new doctor? He sprang into action, scooping up Yang Chuxia from the ground and dashing to the Medical Room, where he placed her in the Medical Cabin.

Yang Chuxia spent a full two hours in the Medical Cabin before regaining consciousness. Upon opening her eyes and seeing the treatment room, she felt a bit disoriented. It took a moment for her to fully come to and recall that she had been injured by General Edi.

In the Medical Department, there were only two nurses; the rest were robots that detected when Yang Chuxia awoke.

The Medical Robot standing by asked in a soothing tone, "Dr. Yang, you're finally awake. How are you feeling?" While speaking, it opened the Medical Cabin.

Rubbing her face, Yang Chuxia replied, "I'm okay, thanks. How long was I out for?" She caught a glimpse of the robot's identification, number 005.

005 extended a hand to assist her out of the Medical Cabin, informing her, "Two hours and one minute. Dr. Yang, your injuries from General Edi were quite severe, with a damaged spleen and a fractured spine. But you've made a complete recovery now, so there's no need for concern!"
