Ibukun could barely contain her excitement the next day. Fikayo and Blessing soon noticed it.

“Did anything interesting happen?” Fikayo asked and Ibukun nodded her head.

Ibukun nodded with a big smile as Blessing hitched her chair closer to Ibukun’s “I feel like this is going to be big, so spill” she said and Ibukun took a deep breath.

“To spare you guys the long story. I visited Tolu at school and guess who I met?” Ibukun said and Fikayo and Blessing’s eyes widened.

Fikayo’s hands went to her mouth “Don’t tell me you met Lashe?” she asked slowly and Ibukun nodded a big smile still on her face.

Fikayo gave a loud shriek and Blessing soon joined and everyone looked at them in confusion. Fikayo kept looking around with her mouth open.

“Err…. Fikayo, keep your mouth closed” Ibukun said and the girls burst into laughter.

“Wow, how was it?” Blessing asked and Ibukun smiled.

“Normal. I kept trying not to scream. I even cleaned my eyes to check if he was the one, I closed and opened my eyes to check if he would disappear by the time I opened it. I wanted to be sure I wasn’t just imagining things” Ibukun said and Blessing chuckled.

“Could you be any more dramatic?” Blessing asked and Ibk burst into laughter.

“I think I was dramatic enough” Ibukun replied and Fikayo burst into laughter.

“Did you see the latest news yet?” Fikayo asked and Ibukun shook her head.

“What is that?” Ibukun asked.

“I bet you were so excited yesterday that you didn’t even check your phone” Blessing said and Ibk laughed.

“Lashe scheduled his next concert next week. It’s few minutes after school. A lot of students are planning to go with their school uniforms. Are we bringing clothes from home or we going along with the trend?” Fikayo asked and Ibukun laughed.

“What do you mean? I gotta show off this uniform” Ibk said with an accent and Fikayo and Blessing burst into laughter.

“I wanted to say we go with our uniforms too” Blessing said.

“I’m so jealous of you” Fikayo said with a pout.

“You got to see Lashe just like that” Fikayo said and Ibk grinned.

“A lot of fans go to DUL to look for Lashe these days. He runs into a lot of fans every day and pictures keep getting posted” Blessing said and Ibk shrugged.

“His departmental mates all seemed adjusted to him though. They interacted with him freely although he isn’t that close to most of them” Ibk said and Fikayo smiled.

“Typically Lashe” Fikayo said and the girls burst into laughter.

Lashe rubbed his eyes as he glanced at his music sheet. He scanned through it while whistling slowly and quietly.

“Your whistling is getting louder” Tolu whispered.

“Ohh” Lashe said as he stopped whistling and dropped the music sheets.

The lecturer soon finished the class and stepped out of the class. Tolu yawned immediately.

‘This man is boring like hell” Tolu said and Lashe chuckled.

“Yet you had a 6 in his classwork” Lashe said as Tolu turned to him.

“See who’s talking. You had full marks and I scored the highest after you” Tolu said and Lashe laughed again.

“I see this flows in your blood” Lashe said as Tolu smiled.

“What do you mean?” Tolu asked and Lashe laughed as the image of Ibukun closing and opening her yes popped up in his head.

“Your younger sister. Her response yesterday when she saw me was very, very dramatic. I had to restrain myself from bursting into laughter” Lashe replied and Tolu laughed.

“You know I think she wasn’t that dramatic. She probably had to force her yell down her throat seeing the amount of students” Tolu said and Lashe laughed again.

“I just kept laughing throughout yesterday” Lashe confessed.

“Her expression when she saw me is one of the funniest, probably the funniest if you remove the girl who fainted in my whole career” Lashe said and Tolu laughed.

“She would definitely have gotten home and filled Sis Tosinmile’s ears for her” Tolu said as she laughed.

“Why did you fix your concert in the evening? That’s unusual” Tolu asked as she packed her bag.

“I wanted to avoid another case of your sister sneaking out. It’s dangerous, if anything happens to her; I wouldn’t like it either” Lashe replied and Tolu froze as she turned to Him.

“So you changed the time because I told you Ibk used to sneak out to watch your concerts at night?” Tolu asked and Lashe sighed and nodded.

“She’s probably not the only one who does that. I have a lot of fans and if performing in the night could put them in anger, I should do something about it” Lashe replied and Tolu couldn’t help the smile that spread across her lips.

“I suddenly get why Ibk likes you so much” Tolu said slowly and Lashe strained his ears.

“Huh?” Lashe asked.

“I must say you are very cool” Tolu said and Lashe raised his eyebrow.

“Did you realise that?” he asked and Tolu laughed as she carried her bag.

“See ya” she said as she walked out of the hall. Lashe remained in his seat as he went through the music sheet.

He decided to practise it one more time. Schooling and managing his career was stressful for him but thanks to his intelligent nature. He was able to do the two without much problems.

His manager was as well very supportive and helpful. The fans too always had his back and that was what Lashe was grateful the most for. His followers on twitter had broken through to four million after the announcement of the concert.

An image of Ibk closing and opening her eyes suddenly appeared in Lashe’s head and he burst into laughter. He smiled as he packed his books as well.
