C28 White Tiger Cavern!

In a moment, the group had reached Yang Chen's previous location. They stared at the pulverized remains of the Flying Tiger, their eyes wide with astonishment.

The apparent leader stepped forward and prodded the carcass of the Flying Tiger, his face quickly turning grim.

"This is an S-class Spirit Beast!" he declared in a grave tone.

His command of the Hua Xia language was passable, though slightly awkward.

"S class!" the others echoed, their faces registering alarm.

"We must be dealing with Hua Xia's S-class powerhouses in this area. We need to expedite our mission, or if we're spotted, we won't stand a chance of escape," the leader stated, turning to his team with a look of concern.

Their own powers were formidable; the leader was at the pinnacle of A class, just shy of stepping into S class, while the other three were solidly B class. They were a force to be reckoned with, capable of holding their own against an S-class adversary.

They were acutely aware of their precarious position within Hua Xia territory, and the proximity to Jiangnan City—a mere hundred kilometers away—meant that Hua Xia grandmasters could be upon them in as little as thirty minutes.

"The Spirit Beast's core has been taken, and judging by the state of the body, it hasn't been dead for long. We need to find the White Tiger Cavern quickly before No.98 gets wind of it," the leader said sternly.

After exchanging glances, one of them produced an old map. It was a tangle of lines, but among the complexity, a spot was marked with a stroke of crimson ink.

"We're close. Assuming no shifts in the earth's crust, it's just ahead. Move out!" commanded the leader, and they took off with the swiftness of unsheathed swords.

Yang Chen's brow furrowed. "White Tiger Cavern?"

His gaze shifted thoughtfully, and he decided to tail them.

Named White Tiger Mountain, the location held the White Tiger Cavern they sought. Yang Chen's curiosity was piqued, and he felt a compelling urge to uncover its secrets.

Was there a deep-seated connection between the White Tiger Cavern and White Tiger Mountain?

"Keep up!"

Harnessing the power of the wind, Yang Chen soared towards the direction of the group as effortlessly as a breeze.

He found the wind's power to be quite impressive; not only did it grant him flight, but his speed had also increased significantly. If his previous speed was a one, the wind's boost now propelled him to a five!

It was spot on!

Soon, Yang Chen caught sight of the group and discreetly tailed them, careful not to spook them.

After all, he needed their help to find the elusive White Tiger Cave.

For now, they were spared.

Unbeknownst to them, their fates were sealed. The moment the White Tiger Cave surfaced, their time would be up!

Navigating White Tiger Mountain was tricky. Without the map these people possessed, finding one's way through the thick fog would be a daunting task.

Along the way, Spirit Beasts launched attacks on the group, but they were merely minor threats; the strongest among them didn't even measure up to a Rank C Spirit Beast.

They were nothing compared to the python that had previously ambushed Yang Chen.

The group's thunderous might reduced the Spirit Beasts to mere ghosts, their cores claimed as spoils.

Yang Chen felt a twinge of envy but held back. After all, soon enough, all would be his—no need to rush.

As the group's pace quickened, the surrounding fog thickened inexplicably.

An almost imperceptible aura of oppression began to emerge around them.

It was the same pressure Yang Chen had felt upon first entering White Tiger Mountain.

Initially, the pressure was faint, and he adapted quickly. But as they ventured deeper, the pressure intensified.

Thankfully, Yang Chen's own cultivation had skyrocketed, propelling him to an S rank. The mounting pressure was formidable, yet not enough to challenge his newfound strength.

The others, however, were not faring as well. The A-rank leader managed to hold his own, but the three B-rank individuals were visibly struggling to catch their breath.

The drain of spiritual energy, compounded by the oppressive aura, left them feeling somewhat fatigued.

Thankfully, as they delved further into White Tiger Mountain, a thick fog enveloped them. Ahead, the outline of an ancient cave dwelling emerged, standing resolute before them.

The cave's rear was pressed against the mountain itself, the entire structure seamlessly integrated into the mountain's embrace!

Yang Chen could distinctly sense that the source of the formidable pressure was emanating from within the cave!

"We've arrived!"

The leader halted, eyes alight with fervor, as he continuously murmured under his breath.

Gazing at the indistinct cave ahead.

"The White Tiger Cave!"
