The elevator chimed, the doors slid open, and Hollis swept Clarissa into his arms, dashing out and into the bedroom. He laid her on the bed and began to peel away her damp clothing.

One by one, his slender fingers undid the buttons of her layers. First, the coat; second, the shirt; and then the third layer... His brow furrowed in confusion
