C42 Disloyalty
Zhang Chen was completely bewildered.
His gaze involuntarily drifted to that alluring spot, causing his body to shudder violently.
Su Mang watched Zhang Chen with a mischievous smile playing on her lips.
Feeling utterly at a loss, Zhang Chen blurted out, "Third Sister, please stop teasing me."
With a haughty tone, Su Mang retorted, "I'm not teasing. Why won't you help me?"
"I remember you used to give Sixth Sister massages when we were kids."
Zhang Chen's face flushed with embarrassment.
The Sixth Sister Su Mang referred to was his Sixth Senior Sister, the naughtiest of the bunch and a martial artist, who often ended up with injuries.
Back then, she would always turn to Zhang Chen for a soothing massage.
This had even sparked some jealousy among the other sisters.
Zhang Chen chuckled awkwardly, "But that was all when we were kids..."
Su Mang pouted, her eyes flickering with displeasure. "You're just playing favorites."
At a loss for words, Zhang Chen knew he was no match for his sisters' strong personalities.
He bowed his head, choosing to remain silent.
With a roll of her eyes and a tone laced with dissatisfaction, Su Mang conceded, "Fine, I won't trouble you further. Just take me out for some fun."
Out for fun?
Zhang Chen could hardly picture Su Mang in a playful setting.
Unknown to him, she had dedicated years to her career, especially during the early days of her startup, sacrificing nearly all her leisure time.
While her peers were out enjoying amusement parks, Su Mang was buried in paperwork in her office.
Now, with some free time on her hands, she lacked the interest and the company for such outings.
Only Zhang Chen could spark that interest, making her genuinely eager to have some fun.
A pang of sympathy struck Zhang Chen, and he readily agreed, "Sure, Third Sister, where would you like to go?"
Upon hearing his response, Su Mang's face lit up with a radiant smile. "Let's start with a swim."
Despite his internal reluctance, Zhang Chen nodded in agreement.
Su Mang, bubbling with excitement like a child, hurried upstairs to get ready.
Zhang Chen's heartache intensified with each passing moment.
His two older sisters might have risen to prominence, but surely they hadn't achieved that without years of hard work and sacrifice?
In no time at all, Su Mang had nearly finished packing.
Zhang Chen, with little to pack himself, was quickly ushered out of the villa by Su Mang's insistent tugging.
Outside, several bodyguards stood vigilantly beside a Rolls-Royce.
Zhang Chen spoke up hastily, "Third Sister, we're just going out for some fun. Do we really need such an entourage? If all eyes are on you, how can you possibly enjoy yourself?"
Su Mang nodded in agreement, "Right, let's keep things simple."
No sooner had she spoken than a black Mercedes-Benz pulled up next to the Rolls-Royce.
Zhang Chen's mouth quirked involuntarily.
It had to be Loong San.
He was beginning to seriously wonder if Loong San had them all under surveillance.
Without delay, Su Mang guided Zhang Chen into the back seat of the Mercedes-Benz, and Loong San set off.
"Find us a good swimming pool," Su Mang instructed.
Loong San paid her no mind.
With a note of exasperation, Zhang Chen asked, "Third Sister, where did you find this bodyguard? What's his story?"
Su Mang gave Zhang Chen a surprised look before responding with a hint of resignation, "A bodyguard of this caliber is beyond my means to hire."
Zhang Chen was taken aback.
"He's not your hire?" he asked, puzzled.
In a hushed tone, Su Mang explained, "He was sent by your Sixth Sister to protect me, but the moment she learned you were here, she immediately reassigned him to you."
"I'll have to give her a piece of my mind when I see her!"
She clenched her fist in mock anger, a gesture that unexpectedly lent her a touch of cuteness.
Zhang Chen was at a loss for words; 'cute' was hardly a term he'd associate with Su Mang.
Yet his curiosity was piqued.
"Third Sister, what exactly does Sixth Sister do? How does she have such formidable people at her disposal?" he inquired softly.
Su Mang pursed her lips, "I'm not sure myself, but she's definitely someone to be reckoned with."
Zhang Chen's curiosity deepened, and he prodded further in a whisper, "So when is she coming back?"
Su Mang just shook her head.
Before Zhang Chen could probe any further, Loong San's deep voice cut through the quiet, "No need to whisper. I can hear everything."
Zhang Chen felt awkward.
Before he could utter a word, Loong San added, "I can't disclose your Sixth Sister's identity to you, but I'm sure she'll seek you out immediately after this mission is over."
"Huh?"
Zhang Chen's face was a picture of confusion.
With a sense of resignation, Loong San remarked, "You're quite the oddity. It's the first time I've seen her react this way."
"She nearly bolted back here when she heard news of you. In the end, it took several armed helicopters to bring her back."
Zhang Chen's eyes widened at the mention of armed helicopters.
In an instant, his curiosity peaked, and he was desperate to find out what Sixth Sister's line of work was.
Su Mang, slightly irritated, said, "No matter how anxious you are, she can't return just yet. Besides, I'm the one who found you. Do you have any idea what I sacrificed to locate you?"
She crossed her arms and stood there, visibly upset.
Quick to make amends, Zhang Chen offered a conciliatory smile. "Third Sister, you must be exhausted. I'll make sure we have a great time today."
Su Mang's expression softened at his words.
Soon after, Loong San brought the car to a halt.
Su Mang eagerly ushered Zhang Chen out, leaving Loong San behind.
Stepping out, Zhang Chen noticed something.
Without the Rolls Royce, Su Mang still turned heads.
He saw men bumping into railings, unable to tear their gaze away from Su Mang even as they tumbled down.
Su Mang was indeed a head-turner.
Amidst the fervent stares of the men, they walked inside.
Taking in his surroundings, Zhang Chen realized he was in quite the predicament.
