C50 Young Master Chen?

Zhang Chen was taken aback, unsure whether the newcomer was a friend or a foe.

Upon closer inspection, he realized the leader was none other than Guang Tou, the bald man he'd encountered before!

Zhang Chen's brow furrowed; he recalled Guang Tou was one of Mr. Hwa's crew.

They were all in cahoots!

Boss Chen was equally bewildered, his brow creased as he inquired, "Qiang? What brings you here?"

Previously, the two had been equals, not under the same leadership.

Now, however, Guang Tou outranked Boss Chen by two whole levels!

Guang Tou's gaze methodically swept over everyone. Spotting Zhang Chen and Su Mang in the crowd, his pupils contracted sharply.

"Everyone, clear out!"

Guang Tou's command boomed through the room, his eyes betraying his urgency.

Zhang Chen was perplexed.

Boss Chen's men wore looks of bewilderment, yet they slowly retreated to the sidelines, watching with bated breath.

"Qiang, aren't you overstepping a bit? I laid eyes on this one first!" Boss Chen, clenching his jaw, protested vehemently.

He assumed Guang Tou had come to snatch Su Mang away.

Guang Tou had intended to move forward, but halted at those words. He spun around, fury etched on his face as he glared at Boss Chen.

An inexplicable sense of guilt washed over Boss Chen.

Guang Tou closed in, his fists balling up with intent.

He had just received an urgent call from Qiang himself, alerting him that two esteemed guests at the bar were in trouble.

His heart nearly leapt from his chest in alarm!

He had hurried over nonstop, only to discover that the 'esteemed guests' Mr. Hwa referred to were Zhang Chen and Su Mang!

What he hadn't anticipated was that Boss Chen would be the one nearly costing him his life!

"What was that?" Guang Tou asked with a deceptive calm, a smile playing on his lips.

Chen Hee paused, a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes.

After a moment, he gathered his courage and began, "This person is my..."

But before he could finish, Guang Tou's hand cracked across Chen Hee's face with a vicious slap!

The sound echoed sharply as Chen Hee crumpled to the ground, his face swelling visibly.

"You dare strike me? Think you're untouchable because you're higher up? You think I won't go to Mr. Hwa?" Chen Hee, teeth clenched, clutched his swollen cheek, seething with rage.

Guang Tou squinted his eyes, suppressing his reaction with great effort.

The priority was to apologize, and fast!

Without further hesitation, Guang Tou spun around and strode toward where Zhang Chen was standing.

He dimly recalled the name from the hotel contract he had seen earlier: Zhang Chen.

In the next instant, Guang Tou was before Zhang Chen, dropping to one knee. "Young Master Chen, I apologize. Please, I beg your forgiveness!"

His words were met with a collective sharp intake of breath.

Everyone gaped at the spectacle before them, including the entourage that had accompanied Guang Tou, who were equally dumbfounded.

What in the world was happening?

After all, wasn't Guang Tou currently Mr. Hwa's golden boy?

Why such a grand apology?

Young Master Chen?

A flurry of questions bombarded everyone's minds, particularly Boss Chen's henchmen, whose eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets.

Boss Chen himself lay on the ground, utterly astonished by the unfolding scene.

The pain on his face had vanished, his eyes now stinging with a mix of blood and alcohol, yet he seemed to have lost even the urge to blink.

Young Master Chen!

With difficulty, Boss Chen swallowed hard, a foreboding sense of dread washing over him.

Zhang Chen, momentarily bewildered, eventually pieced things together.

Su Mang must have been behind this.

After a brief contemplation, he chuckled and assisted Guang Tou to his feet. "Guang, there's no need for such formality. You owe me no apology."

The onlookers fell silent, while Guang Tou flashed a sheepish grin. "Young Master Chen, you're too kind. Just 'Guang Tou' will do."

Zhang Chen wasn't upset, and Guang Tou's anxiety began to ebb away.

At least his life was spared.

"Young Master Chen, how would you like to proceed with this matter?" Guang Tou asked, bowing slightly, his tone still laced with caution.

He seemed wary of provoking Zhang Chen's ire.

A flicker of resignation passed through Zhang Chen's gaze.

He was determined to settle the issue.

With that thought, a smile slowly played across Zhang Chen's lips. "Handle it as you think best."

Caught off guard by the response, Guang Tou paused.

He lifted his gaze to Chen Hee, his eyes softening with a touch of sympathy.

To earn Zhang Chen's forgiveness, he had no choice but to cross Chen Hee.

Chen Hee's mouth quivered, and his eyes flickered with terror as he involuntarily shuffled backward.

With a casual wave of his hand, Guang Tou signaled the burly men behind him to charge toward Chen Hee.

Despair engulfed Chen Hee.

In no time, the men had encircled him, unleashing a frenzied assault. Chen Hee's cries echoed through the crowd.

A glint of excitement crossed Zhang Chen's face as he arched an eyebrow. He was no saint; if someone crossed him, he'd make sure to get even.

His gaze shifted subtly, landing on a nearby cluster of thugs.

Their eyes bulged, bodies shuddering with regret—they knew they had made a grave mistake.

Catching on, Guang Tou gestured once more, and the remaining toughs surged forward.

Soon, the bar was awash with the sounds of anguished wails.

The mere sound made Zhang Chen's skin crawl.

They had met a brutal fate...

Standing before Zhang Chen with a deferential grin, Guang Tou waited for instructions.

Zhang Chen spoke with caution, "Make sure they don't go too far. We're law-abiding citizens, after all. We don't partake in such brutality."
