C90 You Are Being Forced!

Zhang Chen snapped awake!

He never anticipated Han Qiqi would pull such a stunt!

Many employees were already outside, and at the sight of the commotion, they turned to the entrance, eyes wide with shock.

Zhang Chen reached out and seized Han Qiqi's arm.

With a sudden yank, he pulled her back.

Simultaneously, he slammed the office door shut!

A muffled thud echoed.

The employees outside were baffled. What had they just glimpsed?

They exchanged bewildered glances, yet no one spoke a word.

Han Qiqi settled back into the chair with a smug grin spreading across her lips. "What's the matter? Thought you were tough?"

Zhang Chen, teeth clenched in frustration, snapped, "What in the world do you want?"

Han Qiqi rolled her eyes and retorted, "I told you. Come play with me."

"You..."

Zhang Chen pointed a trembling finger at her, his anger making his whole body shake.

If she weren't a woman, he would have called Loong San in a heartbeat!

But she was a girl.

Ultimately, Zhang Chen could only let out a resigned sigh and concede, "Fine, I'll play along, but there's got to be a limit, right? How long do I have to entertain you before you'll leave me alone?"

Han Qiqi, lips pursed thoughtfully, responded, "That depends on how I feel. Behave yourself, and one day might just suffice."

"But if you don't..."

A sinister gleam flickered in Han Qiqi's eyes once more.

Zhang Chen inhaled deeply, his jaw set, and relented, "Fine, I'll play your game!"

No one, except Lee Fengqin, had ever pushed him this far.

Han Qiqi's smile widened triumphantly. "You should've just complied from the start."

With that, she dressed herself and straightened her hair.

Zhang Chen's mouth twitched involuntarily.

Soon after, Han Qiqi was ready, rising to her feet and heading for the door.

Zhang Chen reluctantly trailed behind her.

Their departure immediately drew the gaze of all onlookers.

Zhang Chen felt the flush of embarrassment.

Together, they stepped into the elevator.

Exiting the hotel, Han Qiqi slid into a sky-blue Porsche sports car with ease.

Zhang Chen glanced around surreptitiously before taking his seat in the passenger side like he was about to commit a crime.

Without any hesitation, Han Qiqi put the car in gear and pulled away.

Zhang Chen hurriedly buckled his seatbelt.

She was so young; did she even have a driver's license?

He had no idea where she was headed, leaving him to silently hope the car would come to a stop soon.

Despite staring at the rearview mirror for what felt like an eternity, the black Mercedes-Benz was nowhere in sight.

Time passed, and eventually, Han Qiqi brought the car to a halt.

Looking up, Zhang Chen realized they were in a shopping mall parking lot.

Why on earth had she taken him to a mall?

Before he could gather his thoughts, Han Qiqi was already out of the car, and Zhang Chen had no choice but to follow.

They quickly made their way into the mall.

The interior was opulent, with only the finest brands on display.

The place was bustling with well-dressed people.

Yet even among the crowd, Han Qiqi managed to turn heads.

Zhang Chen couldn't help but feel out of place.

Without missing a beat, Han Qiqi dove into shopping.

Before long, Zhang Chen found himself laden with an armful of shopping bags.

But Han Qiqi showed no signs of slowing down.

Stepping out of yet another store, a breathless Zhang Chen protested, "Didn't you say you wanted to have some fun with me?"

"What exactly are we doing here?"

Han Qiqi halted and replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world, "Isn't shopping a form of entertainment?"

With a twitch of his mouth, Zhang Chen responded in exasperation, "Couldn't you have your minions carry your bags? Why drag me into this?"

Han Qiqi just shook her head, "No way, my dad wouldn't get mad even if he saw it."

Zhang Chen was baffled.

Was this shopping spree just to provoke her father?

Puzzled, he asked, "If you're trying to upset your dad, why linger here? Why not confront him directly?"

Han Qiqi pouted and retorted, "If I did that, he'd definitely hit me!"

"We can make our point just as well here. As long as there are people around, my dad will find out."

Zhang Chen's eyes went wide.

Was her father really that influential?

But recalling her previous remark, he suddenly froze in his tracks.

What does that mean? If they were caught by her dad, would they both get a beating?

So, he was in for it too?

Han Qiqi seemed to read his mind, declaring with a haughty air, "Regretting now is pointless. Your information is probably already in my dad's hands."

Zhang Chen was at a loss for words.

But once it sank in, he found a sense of resignation. He was coerced, after all, and he was confident he could make that clear.

And really, was her dad all that formidable?

Time passed, and finally, Han Qiqi finished her shopping spree, leading Zhang Chen towards the mall's exit.

Dumping all the purchases into the Porsche, Zhang Chen heaved a huge sigh of relief.

His body was already aching, and now he felt utterly exhausted.

Once settled in the car, Han Qiqi took the wheel and they were off again.

Zhang Chen couldn't muster the energy to chat. A morning of shopping had left him famished.

Before he could voice his hunger, he noticed Han Qiqi had pulled up next to a Chinese restaurant.

Looking up, Zhang Chen recognized the place—it was the same restaurant Lau Qingyue had taken him to before.

"I'm starving. We're eating here," Han Qiqi announced with her usual pride and strutted into the restaurant.

Silently, Zhang Chen trailed behind her.

They found a secluded spot on the second floor and settled in.

It clicked for Zhang Chen—this was the restaurant from his meal with Lau Qingyue.

Han Qiqi ordered swiftly, then sat back with a grin, eyeing Zhang Chen.

A sense of dread washed over him; he couldn't shake the feeling that Han Qiqi was up to something.

This was humiliating!

To be pushed around by a young girl...

Han Qiqi's smile widened as she said, "You've done pretty well today. Keep it up this afternoon, and maybe I'll give you a day off tomorrow."

Zhang Chen's smile froze as he realized what she meant, asking with confusion, "A day off?"

She nodded, "Exactly. Without me, you'd be in serious trouble. I'm practically saving your life!"

Zhang Chen was speechless.

Wasn't he in danger because of her in the first place?

He rolled his eyes in frustration, too weary to argue any further.

In truth, he was deep in thought, quietly pondering his next move.

However, just then, an excited voice called out, "Qiqi, what are you doing here?"

Han Qiqi looked up, her brows knitting together ever so slightly.

She shifted her chair, closing the gap until she was pressed up against Zhang Chen.
