C14 She Was Held Hostage

The woman continued her pursuit after the thief. Seeing the thief get away, she became more anxious. In one decisive move, she took off her shoe and smashed it down on the thief’s head.

The thief was momentarily stunned. He reached out his hand to touch his head. Realizing that he was unscathed, he ran away again.

The woman took off her other shoe and threw it at the thief, hitting him in the back. Then, running barefooted, she somehow managed to catch up with the thief in no time!

As the thief tried to get away, he looked behind him and saw the woman still hot on his trail. He threw the phone on the ground, hoping the woman would be side-tracked when she bent down to pick up the phone.

Little did he know, the woman ignored the phone on the ground and still continued chasing after him. When the thief took a break to catch his breath, the woman used this opportunity to catch him.

The woman tightly wrapped her arms around the thief’s body. Try as he might, the thief could do nothing to shake her off.

Seeing that there were more people giving chase after him, the thief suddenly took out a spring knife. He grabbed the woman’s throat and placed the knife to her neck!

He shouted madly at the people right behind him. “Don’t you dare come over! Whoever comes close, I will not hesitate to kill her!”

The people around him were alarmed. They surrounded the thief but did not dare to move any closer, afraid for the hostage’s life and safety.

Zuo Lingfeng saw the scared expression in the thief’s eyes. His hands were visibly shaking. He knew the thief didn’t have it in him. This thief must be scared out of his wits. Perhaps if someone shouted loudly, he would be convinced to let go of this woman.

Zuo Yuliang’s legs did not stop moving as he gazed at the thief with a cold expression on his face.

The thief’s legs were trembling so much, his hand that was holding the knife could not stop shaking either.
