C20 She Could Not Snuff Out His Enthusiasm

Yu Xiaotong blinked her eyes a few times and then looked at Zuo Yuliang seriously. She tried shaking her head to help clear her mind.

Though they were both very handsome and they even resemble each other in some way, Yu Xiaotong was sure in her heart that they were not the same person.

If she had to compare them, that man happened to be better looking than Zuo Yuliang.

In addition, their personalities were different. One was aloof and cold while the other appeared to be a playboy. They were different in every way!

Zuo Yuliang saw Yu Xiaotong shaking her head, and still, not a word came out of her mouth. She just stared at him with a blank expression on her face. So he held her face and rubbed it with his fingers. “Is there something wrong, baby? Have you lost your mind because of me?”

The intimate way he was acting around Yu Xiaotong frightened her. She hurried to push his hand away and said, “No, no, it’s not like that…”

The waiter then came over to serve them their dishes. Zuo Yuliang looked at Yu Xiaotong’s jumpiness and started laughing again.

From that day on, Zuo Yuliang appeared in the store after work every day, and Yu Xiaotong found it hard to avoid him no matter what she did.

This happened to be her university classmate, Lin Yajun. Though she was one grade lower than her, they lived in the same dormitory and they had been very close friends.

Since Lin Yajun still had half a year before she graduated from university, she was still wearing her student clothes.

“I came here to look for my sister, but she just got off work, “Lin Yajun said.

“Your sister is working here?” Yu Xiaotong asked, a bit surprised, “Tell me, what’s her name?”

“My sister’s name is Lin Yafang!”

“Ah? Lin Yafang is my superior! I had no idea that she is actually your sister!”

Zuo Yuliang gestured to Yu Xiaotong. Yu Xiaotong turned around and he said, “Once you guys are done here, come over. I will be waiting in the car.”

Lin Yajun stared at Zuo Yuliang’s back and quietly asked, “Tong, is that your boyfriend? He is so handsome!”

Yu Xiaotong quickly shook her head. “No, stop with your nonsense. He is our general manager. There is no way he can be interested in me!”

“Wow!” Lin Yajun’s eyes opened wider and she exclaimed in an over-the-top manner, “He is actually your general manager? Not only is he handsome, but he is also rich! Tong, I have to say, you are really lucky!”

“Stop with your nonsense. He’s not pursuing me or something. I… It’s just that he needs my assistance with work right now.” Yu Xiaotong felt like she had to lie right then.

“So he’s really not your boyfriend?” Lin Yajun said, “Then introduce him to me. I like rich, handsome guys!”

Yu Xiaotong was amused. “No problem! Come with me. I will introduce you guys right now.”

Lin Yajun looked down to see she was still wearing her student uniform and shook her head. “Forget about it for today. Introduce me to him some other time when I’m properly dressed. I want to make a deep impression on him.”

Yu Xiaotong could not help but laugh. “Okay! When you’re ready, tell me and I promise to introduce the two of you!”

“Is it a deal?” Lin Yajun smiled happily and smacked Yu Xiaotong’s shoulder with her palm.

Then Lin Yajun leaned in close and whispered in her ear, “Help me find out what he likes. Remember to tell me next time!”

Yu Xiaotong could not hold in her laughter. “I got it.”

After parting ways with Lin Yajun, Yu Xiaotong walked back to Zuo Yuliang’s car. When she got in the car, Zuo Yuliang asked, “Is that girl your classmate?”

“Yes.”

“What were you guys talking about?”

“Nothing much. But she did say that she likes you!” Yu Xiaotong joked with a mischievous smile on her face.
