C23 The Sudden Appearance of the Devil

That happened to be Yu Xiaotong’s first kiss. Yu Xiaotong’s first time was taken away by that stranger just like that!

"President?" Yu Xiaotong looked at the supervisor in shock and could only stammer, “What’s going on with him? Why would he want to see me for?”

"You will know when you get there!” the supervisor repeated himself.

Yu Xiaotong turned to give Lin Yafang an uneasy look. She did not know if she was called to the general manager’s office because of some mistake she had made. But even if she had made an error, at most the supervisor would’ve reprimanded her. There was no reason for her to have to go to the General Manager’s office.

To add to that, it was the president who wanted to see her!

Lin Yafang tried using words of comfort to put her at ease. ”Everything will be fine, Xiaotong. You did nothing wrong. Perhaps the CEO needs you for something else. Maybe he wants to see you about a promotion. After winning the quarterly sales award two times in a row, the CEO must see your name in a new light! Hurry and get there quickly. I will help you look after the counter.”

The director also pushed her to hurry. “Head over there quickly. You don’t want to leave the CEO waiting.”

Yu Xiaotong knew that if she did not hurry up, the supervisor would get scolded for her actions.

Even though in the southern company of Milkyway, few people knew the President, a lot of rumors were circulating around the CEO. She stood in the center of the room, feeling uneasy, and said in a soft voice, “President, you…”

Next thing, she heard a man’s cold voice say, “Wait right there. I'm tired and need to rest. This might take a while.”

What in the world was going on? He called her up here just to say he was going to sleep?

While she was thinking her thoughts, the man had already gotten up and was walking out of the room. Yu Xiaotong only caught his tall back, exuding a very familiar air.

She stood in the same spot for a long time and soon Yu Xiaotong grew bored. She raised her head and studied the room to find something that could occupy her time.

The desk was filled with papers and the documents stacked on the tabletop were piled in an unruly manner. Yu Xiaotong saw that there was a random piece of paper at her feet and decided to pick it up. It turned out to be this month’s sales statistics. Clearly, this was important paperwork.

Yu Xiaotong studied the messy state of the office and thought that Zuo Yuliang would feel very distressed upon his return, so she decided to help him out and clean up the office a little.

Her quick and nimble movements sorted the messy papers in no time.

At this moment, a noise could be heard coming from the lounge.

Yu Xiaotong turned her head in the direction of the sound.

A tall man was leaning his body against the door frame. He looked at Yu Xiaotong quietly, like a cheetah lying in wait before he pounced on his prey.

When she got a good look at his face, her heart stopped in mid-beat!
