C29 A Warm Family.

Xu Jia could easily detect the sarcasm lacing their words.

Yet, sometimes playing the fool is a person's best strategy for survival.

And that's precisely what Xu Jia did!

Upon hearing their words, she feigned astonishment.

"Wow, Mei, you really have exquisite taste!"

"Mr. Jiang truly is a young master—he's decided to purchase the Jing Tai property valued at 5.16 million!"

Xu Jia then brandished Jiang Hao's diamond card before Mei's eyes.

"See? This is his diamond card!"

"I can't chat now; Mr. Jiang is waiting for me to bring him the keys and the contract!"

With a beaming smile, Xu Jia turned and strode away.

Meanwhile, Mei and Hong stood there, dumbfounded.

It took them a while to process what had happened, their faces etched with regret and resentment.

"No way! He has a diamond card?"

"5.16 million? How much commission is Xu Jia earning?"

"How could this be? Dressed like that, and he has a diamond card?"

...

Jiang Hao, witnessing all this, couldn't help but sigh.

"This young lady is quite skillful!"

"Indeed, one should never underestimate anyone!"

...

Xu Jia, elated, grabbed the keys and contract and dashed out of the sales hall. Expecting Jiang Hao, the young master, to have a luxury car, she was taken aback when he hailed a taxi instead.

Ultimately, after observing Jiang Hao's attire, Xu Jia chalked it up to his peculiar tastes.

Jiang Hao inspected the house himself before returning to the sales center. He signed the paperwork with ease and had Xu Jia assist with the payment process.

Hong and Mei had been skeptical, but upon learning that Jiang Hao had completed the payment, they were petrified.

They even tried to cozy up to Jiang Hao but retreated under his disdainful gaze.

With keys and documents in hand, Jiang Hao was respectfully seen off by the crowd at the sales center.

"Now, it's time for me to buy a car!"

Just as Jiang Hao set out to make the purchase, something struck him, and he suddenly stood still.

"I haven't even gotten my driver's license yet. What's the point of buying a car if I can't drive it?"

"Talk about bad luck! Looks like I need to carve out some time to take my driving test."

Jiang Hao grumbled to himself on his way home.

Upon arriving home, Jiang Hao found that his parents, Jiang’s father and Jiang’s mother, were still out. Only his sister, Jiang Zixuan, was there, immersed in her books.

He couldn't help but admire Jiang Zixuan.

There's a saying that goes, you don't have to fear those smarter than you, just those who work harder.

Many might be jealous of Jiang Zixuan for her impressive grades, not realizing just how much effort she puts in.

Jiang Hao, of course, knew better than anyone.

...

By the time noon rolled around, it was the busiest part of the day, and Jiang Hao decided to go help his parents.

"Jiang Zixuan, I'm going to help out mom and dad. Want to come along?"

"How about we go together? That way, you can grab lunch there and we won't have to worry about mom running back and forth."

Jiang Hao proposed.

"Sure!"

Children from less affluent families tend to grow up quickly, and Jiang Zixuan was no exception.

Together, they headed to Jiang’s father's food stall.

When Jiang Hao and Jiang Zixuan arrived at the familiar spot where their father set up shop, it was bustling with customers. Jiang’s father and Jiang’s mother were swamped with work.

They immediately jumped in to lend a hand.

Jiang’s father ran a noodle stall, and perhaps because it was Sunday, business was booming.
