C44 President Was Stunned!

Be they mages or warriors, once they mastered certain Martial Skills, they could potentially perceive a different realm altogether. This realm wasn't about cultivation level per se, yet it was intricately linked to it. It represented a profound new insight into the application of one's abilities, a state the ancients referred to as the Minute Subtlety Stage.

From the Foundation Stage to the Minute Subtlety Stage, Heaven Man Unity, True Intent Stage, Domain Stage, and the Complete Stage—those who reached these levels were the crème de la crème of the Heavenly Star Empire.

And yet, Zhang Xing, at the tender age of six, had already grasped this realm, shattering not just the records of the magical community but of all cultivators within the Empire.

After completing his practice, Zhang Xing felt a twinge of dissatisfaction; he sensed there was still room to grow, but that elusive spark of inspiration remained just out of reach. Cultivation, after all, was a matter of opportunity and destiny.

"Your Honor, I've finished my practice. Could you possibly start teaching me magic now?" Zhang Xing asked, rubbing his hands together and flashing an endearing smile full of anticipation. He was hoping to learn magic without charge.

President Jager was immensely taken aback. Teaching him basic spells now seemed almost redundant.

As a Devil Emperor-level mage, he hadn't brought Zhang Xing here to impart rudimentary spells. Reflecting on the boy's current prowess, which rivaled that of a Senior Magic Scholar, he made a decision.

"I'll instruct you in some spells commonly used by magic instructors. I expect you to practice diligently over the next month."

"And when the time comes, I'll give those folks quite the shock!" The more Jie Ge thought about it, the more delighted he became, and he burst into hearty laughter.

"Watch carefully now. Ice Freezing Arts, Ice Spear, Flame Blade, Blizzard, Sea of Flames, Light of Life, Elemental Armor!" In an instant, seven spells were unleashed, and a cascade of incantations flooded into Zhang Xing's mind.

"That's as much as you can grasp for now. You should be able to master it in a month's time." In under a minute, Jie Ge had finished the transfer of knowledge. He was about to leave when something else crossed his mind, prompting him to pause.

"Oh, my memory... I haven't taught students in years, and I've even forgotten the most basic routines."

"Perform the spell I taught you and let me see. If there are no issues, then we're good to go."

Zhang Xing mentally rehearsed the spell, feeling a surge of excitement. The relevant section in the System Store hadn't even been unlocked yet, and here he was, getting a head start on learning it.

In warfare, the first order of business is to shore up your defenses. He mentally sequenced the remaining spells he would cast.

Blizzard and Sea of Flames were area-of-effect spells, heavy on magicule consumption and frequently used in battle. They were, however, a rare sight in competitions. But that wouldn't be a problem as long as he managed the area of effect properly.

The Light of Life was for healing and wouldn't be needed just yet. That left three offensive spells to consider.

This was where the strength of the Minute Subtlety Stage really shone through. In an instant, elemental armor enveloped him. Five meters ahead, a blizzard erupted to his left, and a sea of flames roared to his right. Meanwhile, three spells shot through the middle.

At the Minute Subtlety Stage, he could cast spells instantly without a second thought.

Jie Ge, who had been ready to coach Zhang Xing on his magic, was left dumbfounded once again. He had learned and mastered the spell in under a second!

If those prodigies found out, they'd be beside themselves!
