C19 Fighting

Lin Yaoyang seized the moment, accelerating once more as his body hurtled toward the Ghost Faced Demonic Spider like a missile. The creature, thwarted by the group, was visibly enraged, emitting a series of blood-curdling roars that made one's blood run cold. It then shifted its focus to Lin Yaoyang, who was rapidly closing in.

The spider's two razor-sharp front legs rose slightly, forming a barrier before it. If Lin Yaoyang were to collide with them head-on, he wouldn't need the spider to lift a finger; he'd cleave himself into pieces.

With a fist slammed into the ground, Lin Yaoyang abruptly halted his advance, finding himself face-to-face with the Ghost Faced Demonic Spider. The spider, sensing a prime opportunity, lunged with its front legs, sharp as spears, aiming straight for Lin Yaoyang.

A direct hit would be catastrophic, skewering him through the heart. A surge of alarm shot through Lin Yaoyang, yet his body remained composed. He pressed forward rather than back, eyeing the Spider Leg thrusting toward him. Inside, he summoned the Power of the Ant King, channeling all his strength into his right hand.

In an instant, his right hand darkened to an inky black. Kou Quan, observing from a short distance, was taken aback by the transformation. How had Lin Yaoyang grown stronger? He remembered the battle with Yin Zhiping, where Lin Yaoyang had tapped into his power, but then, the eerie black glow had barely covered his palm.

Now, the darkness was thick and enveloping, extending beyond his wrist and creeping up his forearm. His right fist, shrouded in the black aura, was completely obscured from view.

In such a brief span, how had Lin Yaoyang's strength surged once more? Kou Quan's mind raced with astonishment. Could it be that Lin Yaoyang hadn't used his full strength against Yin Zhiping? The thought was unsettling. And the intensity of his energy—how could it befit a mere first-level martial artist? Even when compared to a first-grade martial master like himself, Lin Yaoyang was showing no signs of inferiority.

Kou Quan's mind raced with shock and suspicion, but Lin Yaoyang was beyond such concerns. The Ghost Faced Demonic Spider's leg thrust towards him, and any distraction would mean certain death.

"Boom!"

Lin Yaoyang's right fist, enveloped in black light, hammered down on the spider's front leg, eliciting a dull thud. Immediately after...

"Crack!"

The sound of snapping echoed, followed by a "plop."

Incredibly, Lin Yaoyang had shattered one of the Demonic Spider's legs!

"What?! How is this possible?"

That was the collective inner cry of the onlookers. How could Lin Yaoyang have broken the spider's deadliest leg with a single punch? It felt like a dream to everyone.

"Hisss! Roar! Roar!"

The Demonic Spider's shrieks snapped everyone back to reality. It wasn't a dream; the unbelievable had unfolded right before their eyes. Lin Yaoyang was monstrously powerful.

He was merely a Level 9 Warrior—how could he possibly shatter a spider leg capable of contending with an eighth-grade martial master with just one punch?

Defeating Yin Zhiping was one thing; the man was only a first-grade martial master, hardly a challenge. That could be chalked up to Lin Yaoyang's exceptional talent. But this punch did more than break the spider's leg—it completely dumbfounded all the mercenaries lurking in the shadows.

"Damn, that's... that's insane!"

A mercenary managed to choke out, his voice tinged with awe. Those around him nodded emphatically in agreement.

Indeed, Lin Yaoyang was a force to be reckoned with. Was he even human anymore? His Carnal Power was akin to that of a humanoid Demonic Beast. They had thought their captain was strong, but Lin Yaoyang made him look like an amateur.

In the past, Kou Quan would have harshly reprimanded anyone speaking such words. But today, he was struck speechless, utterly intimidated by the sheer force of that punch. Even if he were to triple his own strength, he doubted he could match it.

Moreover, Lin Yaoyang's frame appeared so slight and frail next to the hulking demonic spider, amplifying the visual shock of the scene!

Kou Quan gazed at Lin Yaoyang's retreating figure and murmured, "It has to be the cultivation technique. A Profound Rank technique, no less! How could it not be formidable?"

Kou Quan's eyes shone with avarice as he watched Lin Yaoyang, the intensity surpassing any previous encounter. The black-robed woman nearby caught sight of his greedy expression.

Her eyes narrowed, brows knitting together in concern as she cast a penetrating glance at Kou Quan.

Lin Yaoyang, with a single punch, had shattered the spider leg of the demonic beast, sending it scurrying back in retreat. The creature had never anticipated such a seemingly frail human could inflict such devastating damage, breaking the very limb that had allowed it to reign supreme on the outskirts of the Demonic Beast Forest.

From the severed leg of the Ghost Faced Demonic Spider oozed purple-black blood that sizzled upon contact with the ground. Grass and flowers touched by the blood rapidly blackened and wilted, revealing its potent corrosiveness. Yet, the stump remained enshrouded in a persistent black glow, stubbornly clinging on and even showing signs of creeping further up, clearly the dark energy from Lin Yaoyang's Power of the Ant King at work.

Lin Yaoyang felt a continuous surge of Qi flowing into him from the dark aura enveloping the spider's wound, replenishing his own strength.

The Power of the Ant King was manifesting its voracious effect! The Ghost Faced Demonic Spider sensed the peril; the human's punch had left a residue of energy on its body, draining its life force and the very essence of its blood.

If this persisted, it wouldn't take minutes before it was completely desiccated by the black light, with no need for another's assault.

A flicker of confusion crossed the small eyes of the Ghost Faced Demonic Spider. Despite its limited intellect, it couldn't fathom the situation, but even in its simplicity, it could sense that the sinister black light on its leg was the culprit.

A flicker of savagery sparked in the small black eyes of the Ghost Faced Demonic Spider. Without warning, it raised another one of its front legs and brought it down in a swift, lightning-quick strike, severing yet another segment of its limb.

In that moment, the black light completely abandoned him. Lin Yaoyang stood rooted to the spot, suddenly bereft of any sensation of energy flowing into him.
