C29 Mysterious Cave Portrait of Phoenix Queen!

Deep within the Mountain Range of Devilish Beasts, silence reigned. The air was tinged with a faint blood scent, casting an oppressive aura over the area.

Once Luo Chen ventured further into the mountain's depths, the movements of the Golden-striped Horned Python became noticeably more cautious. Though it continued its relentless pursuit, it seldom unleashed lightning to strike at Luo Chen's fading afterimages.

It was clear that something in the heart of the range commanded fear from even a Vicious Beast like the Golden-striped Horned Python.

The python's lessened fervor offered Luo Chen a momentary respite, but he remained vigilant, his eyes scanning the surroundings with razor-sharp focus. They soon settled on a towering rock wall nearby.

Rising a hundred feet, the base of the rock wall bore a knife-like fissure, seemingly carved out by force.

Disregarding potential dangers within the crevice, Luo Chen propelled himself forward with a light step, slipping sideways into the narrow opening.

The python's massive form slammed against the rock wall, sending stone and debris tumbling down as cracks rapidly spread, threatening to crumble at any moment.

Convinced the wall wouldn't hold back the beast, Luo Chen pressed on through the fissure, delving deeper into the rock's embrace.

He had barely advanced when a piercing eagle's cry echoed from outside. Instinctively, Luo Chen glanced back.

A pair of talons, as if forged from the finest iron, descended from above, pinning the Golden-striped Horned Python in place. A swift strike from the bird's razor-like beak pierced the python's skull.

The third-grade Vicious Beast Overlord, which had relentlessly hunted Luo Chen, was overpowered without a chance to fight back, meeting its end in an instant.

Luo Chen inhaled sharply, quickly retrieving a fire piston from his pocket to ignite. With the flickering light, he continued deeper into the fissure.

Time passed, and the sounds of the outside world faded away, leaving Luo Chen enveloped in the depths' uncertain silence.

Suddenly, a chilling breeze swept through, ruffling Luo Chen's hair.

His eyes sparked with alertness as he placed his right hand on the hilt of his sword, his genuine qi surging through him. He quickened his steps and moved forward with purpose.

Before long, he came upon a vast cave, towering forty to fifty meters high and stretching over thirty meters across. The walls were studded with night pearls, casting a soft, glowing light.

At the center of the cave stood a stone table with four matching stools, all blanketed with dust, clearly untouched for ages.

Two large wooden cabinets stood nearby. The left cabinet held an array of bottles and jars, while the right displayed a single hanging scroll above a dust-laden brocade box.

Luo Chen's gaze was drawn to the scroll, and he was instantly captivated.

The painting depicted a woman in a red gown, her skin pale as snow, with fiery red hair cascading down to her waist and a phoenix mark adorning her brow.

But what truly took Luo Chen's breath away were the woman's eyes. Even from the painting, he could sense the commanding presence in her gaze, a domineering spirit that seemed to scorn the heavens.

His eyes drifted to the bottom right corner of the scroll, where a hasty scrawl read—Phoenix Queen, Huang Mengxuan.

A chill ran through Luo Chen. The Universe Continent had seen its share of unparalleled warriors over the years, each leaving an indelible mark on history.

And among them, Phoenix Queen Huang Mengxuan was a legend in her own right!

Over three centuries ago, she came into the world already an Innate Grandmaster. By the age of seven, she had shattered the barriers of the Xiantian realm, and at thirty-two, she ascended to the Martial Emperor realm, her might unchallenged.

Yet, what baffled many was that after reaching the Martial Monarch Stage, the Phoenix Queen vanished, leaving no trace behind on the continent.

Three hundred years had passed since her time. If the Phoenix Queen were still alive, with her extraordinary talent, she would undoubtedly have ascended to a realm beyond anyone's wildest dreams.
