Martin stumbled into the grand hall of the church.

Dim candlelight chased away the shadows, revealing rows of guards on either side, clad in black armor and sporting fanged masks.

At the far end of the hall stood a long conference table, flanked by twelve chairs.

Seated upon them were figures of both genders
