C50 Old Man Tang Shi!

"How did you manage that?" The young doctor stared at Ye Yu in disbelief, his voice tinged with astonishment.

As Ye Yu removed the acupuncture needles from the elder's body, he replied to the young doctor, "I simply used acupuncture!"

The young doctor was at a loss for words, his mouth twitching slightly, realizing Ye Yu was ribbing him for his earlier mockery.

"Little brother, I was wrong before. I shouldn't have doubted you," the young doctor admitted quietly, standing next to Ye Yu.

Ye Yu gave the young doctor a sidelong glance. "You may be a doctor from a prestigious hospital, but remember, there have always been masters of their craft among the common folk. It's best not to judge others with a rigid mindset."

Together, the young doctor and Ye Yu helped Elder Tang to his feet. The young doctor nodded in agreement and asked, "What's the name of that acupuncture technique you used? I've never heard of the Ghost Gate Thirteen Needles before—it sounds extraordinary!"

Now fully conscious, the elder looked around at Ye Yu, the young doctor, and the onlookers, and inquired, "What just happened?"

The bystanders, relieved to see Elder Tang awake, recounted the recent events.

"You collapsed suddenly. This doctor tried to save you, but to no avail. We feared the worst, but then this miraculous healer revived you with just a few needles!"

With the crowd's story, Elder Tang's memory came flooding back. He instinctively rubbed his chest, recalling the intense pain.

"I remember now. I was overcome with unbearable chest pain while walking, and then I blacked out. I nearly met my end!"

"Exactly, Elder Tang. You gave us quite the fright. Without this young healer, you'd have been knocking on hell's door," chuckled an acquaintance of Elder Tang.

Elder Tang faced Ye Yu, straightened his clothes, and bowed respectfully. "Young healer, I owe you my life. Thank you."

Ye Yu quickly gestured dismissively. "Please, no need for titles. I just applied some acupuncture skills."

"That's quite the understatement. Your technique was nothing short of life-saving!" Elder Tang exclaimed.

"My name is Tang Shi. You've snatched me from death's clutches today. Should you ever need assistance, seek me out. I still hold some influence in the southeast province."

Observing Tang Shi, whose distinguished attire and demeanor set him apart, Ye Yu considered for a moment before responding, "Just call me Ye Yu. And should I require help, I'll be sure to reach out."

"Agreed!" Elder Tang exclaimed with joy, nodding his approval. He was grateful not only for Ye Yu saving his life but also for the chance to befriend someone with such a miraculous healing ability.

"Congratulations, Host, on saving a life. You've earned a lottery draw!" The system's voice echoed in Ye Yu's mind, bringing him a surge of elation.

"Mr. Tang, you've suffered a sudden heart attack, which is extremely dangerous. I strongly recommend a thorough check-up and to always carry medication," Ye Yu advised Elder Tang.

Mr. Tang nodded, a touch of melancholy in his voice. "I'm getting old. My body isn't what it used to be."

Turning to the young doctor, Mr. Tang clapped him on the shoulder, offering praise, "Young man, you did well. Your skills may need refining, but it's rare to find someone as eager to help as you."

The young doctor cleared his throat with a few coughs, his cheeks tinged with red. "It's not a lack of skill on my part, but rather Brother Ye Yu's mastery of acupuncture that's truly exceptional!"

Mr. Tang nodded in agreement. "Absolutely, Ye Yu's needling technique is so profound it's as if it can communicate with spirits. Just moments ago, I could almost swear I was at death's door, ready to cross over, when suddenly I felt this pulling force yank me back to life. It must be Ye Yu's doing."
