Jiang Loong had seen enough and decided to shut his eyes, dragging her straight into Ke'er's compartment.

Ke'er ascended to Level Three.

Patting Tongtong's head, Jiang Loong announced, "Tongtong, you're up next for a level-up!"

Tongtong gazed at him, her expression a mix of confusion and wonder.

Once Ke'er achieved Rank 3, the blemishes on her face vanished, restoring her to her former self. Yet, Jiang Loong was uncertain if her body had undergone any other transformations. The thought made his eyes involuntarily drift downward once more.

Clearing his throat, Jiang Loong suddenly felt parched.

After tossing out the two Rank 3 male zombies and commanding them to round up more zombies, he settled down to work.

Hours later, Jiang Loong had single-handedly wiped out the massive horde of zombies.

From the leading Rank 3 mutated zombie to the common Level 1 zombies, they all contributed to Jiang Loong's growing power.

Moreover, his Synthetic Space had leveled up twice during the ordeal, now boasting a Level Six status.

With the novice phase behind him, the upgrade requirements for the Synthetic Space had evolved. He now needed a zombie of a matching level to upgrade, but Jiang Loong quickly discovered that possessing higher-level zombies could also elevate his Synthetic Space.

With an abundance of high-level zombies at his disposal, Jiang Loong captured them with ease.

His space's expansion to Level Six meant he now had 24 compartments at his command.

In addition, Jiang Loong secured two Upgrade Treasure Chests.

Having managed all that, he wiped the sweat from his brow.

"That was no small feat," Jiang Loong mused to himself.

The effort was taxing, but the rewards were substantial.

The composition of Jiang Loong's Synthetic Space had drastically changed, now housing nearly 6,800 zombies.

Previously, his space contained numerous zombies ranging from Level 8 to Level 10. After merging them, Jiang Loong was left with six Rank 1 mutated zombies—five males and one female.

Beyond the mutated zombies, the count of high-level zombies had noticeably dwindled.

Jiang Loong no longer focused on the high-level zombies; the mutated zombies were his true powerhouse. With the addition of his original group, he now commanded eight mutated male zombies—two at Rank 3 and six at Rank 1. As for the female mutated zombies, there were six in total: Ke'er, a formidable Rank 3, Tongtong at Rank 2, and four others at Rank 1.

Back when he was in Base City, he had a single mutated zombie under his command. Now, Jiang Loong's strength had multiplied several times over!

"You have received the Daily Treasure Chest. Please open your Synthetic Space to claim it!" announced the system notification.

Jiang Loong was ecstatic; this was a double dose of good fortune! He swiftly accessed his Synthetic Space and was greeted by treasure chests hovering above each cell housing a zombie.

Today, Jiang Loong had amassed eighteen treasure chests, with fourteen specifically for mutated zombies. Most were iron-gray—the lowest quality—so he tempered his expectations.

He started with the four smaller chests, which yielded 12 Strength Points, 10 Speed Points, 8 Mental Force Points, 5 Extraordinary Talent Points, and an abundance of food.

Next, he tackled a Rank 1 mutated zombie chest. Among nine gray chests, this one stood out in green, rewarding him with 88 Strength Points, 80 Speed Points, 54 Mental Force Points, 25 Health Points, 18 Gene Points, 12 Extraordinary Talent Points, and even more food.

"The color of the chest is crucial," Jiang Loong mused. "Clearly, the contents vary significantly."

He then proceeded to the two chests from Rank 3 mutated zombies. One chest was green, the other gray. The green chest bestowed upon him 35 Strength Points, 10 Skin Resistance Points, 15 Bone Points, 18 Vision Points, and three boxes of food. The gray chest, while less generous, still provided 30 Strength Points, 15 Skin Resistance Points, and another three boxes of food.

"I can't believe I've scored this much to eat!" Jiang Loong exclaimed, as he stowed all the food into his storage space.

He certainly wouldn't complain about an abundance of food! In the midst of the apocalypse, food was the most valuable commodity.

And the food he found in the treasure chest wasn't just any ordinary concentrated or synthetic fare; it was truly delectable!

Jiang Loong then proceeded to unlock Tongtong's treasure chest.

"Congratulations on unlocking the Level 21 Treasure Chest. You've gained 21 points in All Attributes, 21 gene points, 21 extraordinary talent points, three boxes of food, one zombie vest, and one complete Princess Set (including a hat)."

He even found a clothing set in the chest?

The system was incredibly impressive.

Jiang Loong examined the clothing set he had retrieved. It was a charming ensemble: a pink lace shirt, a princess dress with suspenders, and an adorable hat.

He gestured to Tongtong, "Come here, Tongtong!"

Tongtong approached and stood by Jiang Loong, motionless and with a vacant stare.

Without concern for her reaction, Jiang Loong held the pink shirt up to Tongtong, finding it a perfect fit.

The clothing was clearly tailored for Tongtong.

He had felt a tinge of regret earlier, not having had the chance to buy Tongtong new clothes at Dongning Base City. Now, his wish was finally realized.

"These are your new clothes, Tongtong. I'll help you put them on later, okay?"

Tongtong remained unresponsive.

Jiang Loong had intended to ask if she liked the clothes, but seeing a flicker of awareness in her eyes, he simply smiled and put the clothes aside.

He reopened the Synthetic Space, this time aiming to unlock the treasure chest floating above Ke'er's exclusive compartment.

The chest was green, and he was curious about its contents. Could there be another clothing set inside?

He glanced at Ke'er's bloodied attire.

"Congratulations, you've unlocked the Level 31 Treasure Chest. Your All Attributes Value has increased by 31 points, gene point by 31 points, and extraordinary talent point by 31 points. Additionally, you've acquired a zombie weapon: a thorn staff, and an exclusive cloak set."
