He was now roughly thirty meters from the tail end of the zombie horde. Relying on just a handful of zombies would take him ages to synthesize. It was better to seize the moment while the mutated zombies were preoccupied and delve into the thick of the horde to complete his synthesis.

Armed with a Level 10 male zombie for protection, Jiang Loong feared no attack from the lesser zombies. The mutated ones were too busy to notice him, rendering him fearless.

Jiang Loong recalled Tongtong, who was outside, back into his space. He then proceeded to fuse the newly acquired Level 9 female zombie with Tongtong.

Meanwhile, Tongtong had reached Level 10!

With no reinforcements from behind, the zombies at the city walls were swiftly dispatched by the heavy weapons above.

As the zombies surged forward once more, they were met with another Shock Bomb, halting their progress yet again.

Jiang Loong, having evaded several shockwaves from the rear, saw the helicopter depart and quickly scrambled to his feet. He wasted no time in unleashing his zombies to launch an assault on the zombie army.
