C13 It was settled

Dexter responds to the time and place he is going to pick up Leila and that is that; the date has been sent. If only his leg wasn't broken, Dexter would be dancing for joy right about now. To think that he, who is only attracted to young teenagers, could finally find a woman to meet his needs. She looks so young too, he hoped that this wasn't going to be a problem. People could say things about him, saying he is a dirty man going for very young girls. He brushes these thoughts aside and decided to deal with them when they come. All he cared about was that he finally found The Woman from the Fountain of Youth.

He pushes the button on the intercom but then remembers about Sheona. She didn't act in any strange way the last time she was there, but at the same time, she looked to be in tears when she was last in here. At least she didn't quit on him. Looks like she was planning on staying with her current job.

Then he figures that maybe it wasn't so bad. She didn't say anything, and perhaps she was hiding her true feelings, but if she chooses not to talk about it, then perhaps it's not so bad.

He presses the button on the intercom, "Sheona, can you please come in here."

The door opens and Sheona enters, "yes, sir?"

Dexter gets up from his desk, holds on to his crutches, and walks over to her, "I hope this isn't a bother, but I'm going on a date tonight and-"

Sheona gasps as she slaps him as hard as she could. It was so powerful that Dexter was thrown back towards his desk. However, this wasn't intentional as Sheona gives an expression of surprise, "I'm so sorry, sir" she says in an apologetic manner. She wanted to go up to him and help him up but she was so embarrassed that she leaves the office, leaving Dexter completely stunned and confused.

Meanwhile, Leila just stared at her phone, incapable of describing what had just happened.

"What did I just do?" she said.

"Finally, you are making your own decisions," replies Tomi.

"I can't believe it. I'm going out on a date."

"It's not the first time."

"A date with a man 10 years older than I am! I can't believe I'm going out with an adult."

"Don't worry about it. I'm telling you, it's going to be okay. Besides, this is your first step into being treated like an adult. For now, let's go."

"Go where?"

"Where do you think? To buy some clothes. You said you didn't have anything right."

"Right, I guess."

"The problem is, what kind of clothes should you buy for a CEO? Maybe he's taking you out to fine dining or something? Why don't you ask him?"

Leila was still unsure about this as she types on her phone where they are heading. She then gets a reply, saying they are just going to a casual restaurant.

"Perfect," says Tomi, "then we just need some casual clothes. It shouldn't be too hard. Come on."

Leila braced herself as Tomi drags her to a clothing store. Her head was swimming with doubt as she had no idea what was in store for her. 'Is this really, okay?' she asks herself, 'but I do want to be treated like an adult. Besides... he's pretty good looking.'
