The other mages weren't as strong as that mage, so they invited them for free. After a long time, that ghost couple didn't harm anyone, they only came to eat every day. The tavern's people started out on tenterhooks, then became numb later on, and they probably got used to it.

To the people in the tavern, this ghost couple were only two special guests.
