C157 Pill Refining(last Part)

"Cheating? How could it be so fast? How long has it been? Less than fifteen minutes!" The Heaven Pill Elder's heart began to go crazy.

Years ago, he had spent ten days to comprehend the 'Heaven Pill Flame Refining Incantation', and had successfully ignited the first flame. When his master found out about it, he even praised his talent for being superb, and that he was a rare genius in the Dao of alchemy that only appeared once in a thousand years in the Diyuan Sword Sect.

The 'Heavenly Pill Fire Refining Mantra' was a top grade earth-rank magic skill. Although it was a bit different from the magic skill used for cultivation, it wasn't easy to comprehend it. For the Heavenly Pill Elder to be able to comprehend it in ten days, he could be considered a genius.

If an ordinary person wanted to comprehend the Heavenly Pill Flame Refining Incantation, they would need at least a month, or even several months.

The Heaven Pill Elder had thought that although Yih Xuan's comprehension ability was pretty good, he had never come into contact with the 'Fire Controlling Incantation', so he would need at least a month's time to fully comprehend it.

This was the best estimate in the Heaven Pill Elder's heart. One should know that he had already come into contact with a lot of Fire Controlling Arts before cultivating the Heaven Pill Fire Refining Art.

If the first technique he wanted to comprehend was the Heaven Pill Fire Refining Incantation, then he would need at least a month's time to fully comprehend it.

One had to cultivate step by step, and build a good foundation in order to easily reach the peak. It was with the help of the 'Heaven Pill Flame Refining Incantation' that the Heaven Pill Elder was able to comprehend the 'Heaven Pill Flame Refining Incantation' in just ten days.

He had given Yih Xuan the 'Heaven Pill Fire Refining Incantation' from the beginning, and there was actually a reason for Yih Xuan to retreat in the face of difficulties.

If Yih Xuan discovered that it would take him a month to comprehend the Flame Controlling Incantation, he would naturally back out.

However, he didn't expect that after he gave Yih Xuan the 'Heaven Pill Fire Refining Technique', Yih Xuan would completely comprehend it in less than a quarter of an hour, and even ignite the first flame!

If he could be called a genius, then what should Yih Xuan be called? A monstrous genius? A monster?

The Heaven Pill Elder felt as if his world view was collapsing; this was too much of a blow to him!

In fact, what the Heavenly Pill Elder didn't know was that Yih Xuan was able to comprehend the 'Heavenly Pill Fire Refining Incantation' so quickly. Besides his own high comprehension ability, Yih Xuan was also able to comprehend the 'Heavenly Pill Fire Refining Incantation' in such a short period of time. There were also other reasons.

The Chaotic Sword Technique that he cultivated contained everything. Apart from the various methods of absorbing spirit energy and converting profound energy, there were also many profound energy control, profound energy explosion, and profound energy conversion tricks.

In the end, this Heaven Pill Fire Refining Incantation was just a kind of profound energy control and profound energy conversion secret art.

Yih Xuan had learned countless profound energy control in the Chaotic Sword Technique, and the trick of the profound energy conversion was by analogy. Coupled with his high comprehension ability, it was not very strange for him to learn the Heaven Pill Flame Refining Incantation so quickly.

Yih Xuan tried his best to control the flame in his hand. Although he had already ignited the flame, the flame was very unstable. It flickered and flickered, as if it would extinguish at any moment.

Controlling the flame required soul power. Although Yih Xuan's soul power was powerful, it had already reached the level of a peak fifth level Profound Master. He was only a step away from breaking through to the sixth level Profound Master. He could be considered an expert in the entire Mooyun Kingdom.

However, in order to control the flames well, not only was his soul force powerful, he also needed to control it carefully.

This soul force cannot be too fierce, nor too weak. It must be maintained at a certain height, not high, not low.

Otherwise, if concocting pills is so easy, then aren't all the powerful Mystics on the continent advanced alchemists?

Although Yih Xuan's comprehension ability was extremely high, it wasn't easy for him to achieve this.

The first flame that Yih Xuan ignited was extinguished in just a few breaths of time.

This was because Yih Xuan was too careful. He only used a little bit of his soul power to control the flame, but it didn't meet the requirements of controlling the flame.

Yih Xuan didn't give up, and then he ignited a second flame. This time, Yih Xuan learned his lesson and boldly used his soul power.

But this time, the flame lasted for a shorter period of time than the first flame. In less than a breath's time, the flame exploded.

This was because Yih Xuan exerted too much force. In an instant, it exceeded the limit of the flame, causing it to explode.

"Controlling the flame requires one to use one's heart to feel the temperature of the flame. Only then can one control it and use it for oneself." The Heaven Pill Elder said.

He had been observing Yih Xuan the whole time. Ever since he saw that Yih Xuan had actually comprehended the Heavenly Pill Fire Refining Incantation in just a quarter of an hour, he wanted to know how far Yih Xuan would go.

"Perhaps, he might be able to achieve great accomplishments in both the profound way and the Dao of Alchemy."

Of course, this was only a fleeting thought in his mind.

No matter if it was the profound way or the Dao of Alchemy, both were profound and profound, and they were boundless. Many people spent their entire lives and wouldn't be able to obtain great accomplishments in one of them, let alone two cultivators that cultivated at the same time and attained great accomplishments.

In the heart of the Heavenly Core Sect Elder, he actually hoped that Yih Xuan would give up on the Dao of alchemy and focus on the profound way.

However, after seeing that Yih Xuan was unable to control the flames twice, the Heavenly Core Sect Elder still couldn't help but remind him.

He didn't know why, but perhaps it was because of that fleeting thought.

Yih Xuan was stunned for a moment, and then a flash of understanding appeared in his heart.

According to this understanding, Yih Xuan ignited another flame. Although this flame was still flickering and flickering, and it was finally extinguished, it lasted for several dozen breaths of time.

Yih Xuan heaved a sigh of relief. He thought, "As expected, in order to control the flame, one must first know the temperature of the flame. Only in this way can one know exactly how much soul force is needed to truly control the flame."

Now that Yih Xuan had found the trick, it was not difficult for him to control the flame in an extremely short period of time.

Sure enough, after a few more tries, a flame no longer flickered in Yih Xuan's hand. The flame kept jumping like a dancing flame fairy.

As long as the profound energy in Yih Xuan's Dantian was not completely exhausted, this flame fairy would not be extinguished.

A trace of surprise flashed across the Heaven Pill Elder's eyes. When he was guided by his master back then, it took him an entire day to truly control a flame. This result was enough to be proud of in the entire Mooyun Kingdom!

Yih Xuan looked at the flame in his hand. He didn't have a trace of complacency in his heart. He knew that this was only the beginning.

The color of this flame was still light red, and it was at the lowest level. Next, he wanted to gradually raise the level of the flame, and then lower it from the highest level to the lowest level. This repeated several times, until he could transform the flame from high to low, from low to high and steady.

Finally, he wanted the flames to be able to quickly and freely change at all levels. The temperature and time must not be the slightest bit inferior. Only then could he truly begin refining pills.

Putting aside the various requirements after refining pills, just the control of fire before refining pills was enough to give countless people a headache. Without years of hard work, one would never be able to control the fire so perfectly, not to mention concocting the pill after.

Otherwise, how could it be said that alchemy was difficult?

The Heaven Pill elder had deeply experienced the difficulty of alchemy, which was why he hoped that Yih Xuan would give up alchemy and focus on the profound way.

If he wanted to achieve success in the Dao of Alchemy, he would have to spend a lot of time polishing it. But once the time spent on the Dao of Alchemy was over, the profound way would definitely fall behind.

Just like the Heavenly Pill Elder himself, his accomplishments in the Dao of alchemy could be said to be something few people in the Mooyun Kingdom could match. But in the aspect of the profound way, he was far inferior. Although he was also a high level profound master, he was merely barely able to enter the seventh level of the profound master realm. And this was only because of the accumulation of profound cores. It was simply incomparable to ordinary seventh level profound masters.

This was a dead end, and no one could cross it.

However, in this world, there would always be some people who were difficult to understand.

They break the rules and ignore the truth. In front of them, all the hard rules that were as hard as iron seemed so fragile and powerless!

People like them could no longer be described as geniuses. This was the way mortals called themselves, they could only be called abnormal! Monstrous!

What a coincidence, Yih Xuan was such a person.

Controlling fire might be a very difficult task for others. It was impossible to do it without countless attempts, but it wasn't that difficult for Yih Xuan.

Perhaps it was because he was cultivating the Chaotic Sword Technique, or perhaps it was because of his Heart of the Sword, or perhaps it was because of his own special reason, Yih Xuan's soul power was unusually sensitive, at least a hundred times more than an ordinary person's. No slight change could escape his senses.

This point had not only helped him a lot in the battle, it had also allowed his combat reaction to far exceed that of an ordinary person, allowing him to avoid countless dangers. And in alchemy, he was like a fish in water, like a tiger entering the forest.

Regardless of whether it was controlling fire or alchemy, they all paid attention to subtle changes to lead the overall situation. Every tiny change would determine the success or failure of a whole.

Yih Xuan could clearly sense the subtle changes in controlling fire and concocting pills. He could make adjustments and adjustments in time to allow them to return to their perfect state.

As for the Heaven Pill Elder and the others, they actually could not sense such minute changes. Only a very small number of people had sensitive soul power like Yih Xuan.

If the Heavenly Pill Elder and the others wanted to learn alchemy, they could only accumulate countless experiences through countless accumulation, and then transform these experiences into an instinct.

In the end, they would become an alchemist.

However, such an alchemist was not perfect, because each time he concocted a pill, there would be some slight differences.

And these subtle differences would cause the quality of the Profound Core to drop, and even cause the Profound Core to become a useless pill, and it would no longer be of any use.

Thus, there was the success rate of concocting pills, as well as the birth of the quality of the Profound Core.

Of course, for an alchemist like the Heaven Pill Elder who had immersed himself in alchemy for several decades, as long as it wasn't a high-grade earth-step Profound Core, his success rate would be above 80%, and the quality of the Profound Core would also be above 70%.

For a high-grade earth-step alchemist... This was already a matter that he was extremely proud of. Even a High Earth rank alchemist might not have the success rate and quality of a Profound Core Pill like the Heavenly Pill Elder.

However, compared to Yih Xuan, these pills were far inferior.

Next, the Heavenly Pill Elder saw something that he would never forget for the rest of his life.
