C159 The First Time

Maybe it's an arrangement in heaven. Although the Heavenly Pill Elder didn't refine a high-grade earth-step spiritual object into a Profound Core, and didn't even mention this idea, he still received a generous reward.

Nearly two hundred high-grade earth-step spiritual objects were used to refine pills. Not everyone had the courage and opportunity to do so.

After concocting so many Earth Grade Xuan Pills, the Heavenly Pill Elder could feel that he was about to break through to the realm of Supreme Earth Grade Alchemist. As long as he was given a few more years to properly comprehend it, he would definitely be able to smoothly break through!

Once he broke through, he would be the only Supreme Grade Earth Grade Alchemist in the Mooyun Kingdom. No one in the alchemy realm could match him! Even now, the Heavenly Pill Elder's alchemy realm was much higher than the average High Grade Earth Grade alchemist, and there was basically no one in the Mooyun Kingdom who could reach his level.

"Yih Xuan, Martial Nephew, you are already familiar with the medicinal properties of all kinds of herbs, and you know all the pill formulas like the back of your hand. You can start concocting pills now."

Looking at Yih Xuan in front of him, the Heavenly Pill Elder's heart was filled with emotion. Years ago, from the time he had first come into contact with the Dao of alchemy, to the time he had truly started concocting pills, it had taken him three years! This was what his master had called a genius. Very few people in the Mooyun Kingdom could match up to him.

As for Yih Xuan, from the moment he came into contact with the Dao of alchemy to the moment he truly began concocting pills, it had only taken him a month! Such talent, he could no longer find any words to describe it.

"Perhaps Yih Xuan, Martial Nephew, is the legendary person who breaks the rules. His life is destined to shake the heavens and shake the earth, to look down upon the world! His light will shine on every corner of the Xuanyuan Continent, and he will be revered by the world! "

The heart of the Heavenly Core elder trembled, as if he had just recalled the future.

After a pause, the Heavenly Pill Elder continued, "However, Martial Nephew, the Profound Core you wanted has already been refined. Do you want to break through to the Profound Master realm first, or do you want to start concocting pills first?"

Yih Xuan thought for a moment and said: "Let's start concocting pills first, there is still enough time to break through to the Profound Master realm. No,i want to try out what it feels like to concoct pills first. " There were still five months left before the fifteen year deadline, so there was still plenty of time.

And during this month, although his cultivation did not improve, he was still at the peak of the 8th Xuan Qi layer. However, the profound energy in his Dantian was purer and more vigorous, and his realm was also more consolidated.

Yih Xuan had a feeling that if he started to break through now, he could break through to the late stage of the ninth level of the Profound Warrior Realm in one go without any instability in his realm.

There were thousands of Great Daos, and all paths lead to the same destination.

The profound way was a kind of Dao. The Dao of Alchemy was also a type of Dao.

Although Yih Xuan's cultivation base was far from reaching the level of being one with the Great Dao, there were still many similarities between the two. With these similarities, Yih Xuan could assist both of them and improve together.

For example, after the profound way realm was higher, the Pill Fire would become even stronger, and it could be refined into a higher grade Profound Core, causing the Alchemy Dao realm to rise by an average level. Similarly, after the Alchemy Path's realm increased, it would also be able to increase the cultivation of the profound way along the way.

"Alright, then let's start refining pills now."

The Heaven Pill elder didn't say anything more, and immediately started to let Yih Xuan concoct the pill.

When the Heavenly Pill Elder was helping him concoct the Profound Core, Yih Xuan was also watching from the side, and was already very familiar with the steps of concocting the pill. It wasn't a big problem for Yih Xuan to start refining the Profound Core now.

"The first time you start refining the Profound Core, you must start from the lowest grade Profound Core. This healing pill is a low human grade Profound Core, it can allow a low human grade Profound Warrior to recover some of the normal sword and saber injuries. It is the Profound Core that our Diyuan Sword Sect and even the Mooyun Kingdom uses the most. "

Now, the Heavenly Pill Elder could also tell that Yih Xuan was not an ordinary person. To others, it was hard to cultivate the profound way and the Dao of alchemy together. But for Yih Xuan, it wasn't impossible.

The various facts from before had already shown that Yih Xuan's talent in the Dao of alchemy was similarly extraordinary, and was not even the slightest bit inferior to the profound way.

One day, even if he really stepped foot into the great doors of alchemy and attained the peak of alchemy, it was not impossible for him to become a grandmaster of alchemy!

Although the Heavenly Pill Elder did not refine such a low-grade Profound Core, but his Heavenly Pill Peak still had quite a number of disciples. These disciples' alchemy realms were all just human-step alchemists.

From a Low-grade Human Stage Pill Refiner to a High-grade Human Stage Pill Refiner, it was different. Some of them were even still in the stage of learning how to control fire, and were even inferior to Yih Xuan.

An earth-step alchemist was already considered an elder, and his status was even higher than an elder's. He was even higher than an ordinary elder. Many of them had their own mountain peaks, so naturally, they wouldn't be able to live on the Heavenly Pill Peak.

As for the disciples on the Heavenly Pill Peak, they needed to refine Profound Cores, and most of them would start with healing pellets. These Profound Cores were the simplest and easiest to refine.

On the Heavenly Pill Peak, healing pills required the most spirit medicines. Because healing pills required the most amount of pills, they naturally required the most.

This healing pill was refined using a low-grade human-step spirit item called Flower Spirit Grass as the catalyst, supplemented by two spirit herbs that could not even be considered as spirit medicines.

The growth conditions of this Flower Spirit Grass were extremely low. As long as it was in a place with slightly more spiritual energy, it could naturally mature within a few months. In most sects, this type of spirit grass would be planted in large amounts for the sect to consume.

This flower spirit grass had a function that could revive blood and remove blood stasis. It could facilitate the growth of the cells of Mystics, allowing the injured parts to quickly recover.

However, this was also useful to ordinary middle-ranked and low-ranked Mystics. As their cultivation increased, the physique of Mystics would become stronger, and the Flower Spirit Grass would have almost no effect on Mystics.

Take Yih Xuan for example. If he was injured now, no matter how many healing pills he ate, it would not be of any help to him. With his current physical strength, if he wanted to quickly recover from his injuries, he would need at least a Xuan Core at the Earth rank or above.

"Yih Xuan, Martial Nephew, you have also seen me refine a lot of Profound Core. As for the refining steps of the healing pill, you have already completely grasped them. Now, you can start refining it once. " The Heavenly Pill Elder said.

Yih Xuan nodded. The herbs that he needed had already been prepared by the side. In front of Yih Xuan was a pill furnace that was as tall as a man.

A light red flame appeared in Yih Xuan's hand. Yih Xuan waved his hand and the flame flew towards the bottom of the pill furnace. The flame kept getting bigger and bigger. When it reached the bottom of the furnace, it had already covered the bottom of the furnace.

The first step in concocting pills was to prepare the heat. Only when the temperature inside the pill furnace rose to a certain level could he place the spirit medicine inside.

There were also requirements to prepare the heat. It could not be dispersed, and had to be evenly distributed. The temperature required for each type of Profound Core was different. One had to be careful and serious. Only after making sure that there was nothing wrong with it could the spirit medicine be placed inside.

Fortunately, Yih Xuan's soul perception was extremely sensitive, and he could clearly feel the changes within the pill furnace. He knew when the best time would come.

Yih Xuan's heart was incomparably calm. His eyes were staring intently at the furnace.

Refining pills required one to be fully concentrated. If one was not careful, it could cause a cauldron of Profound Core to become a useless pill, and it would no longer have any effect.

Of course, if it was like the Heavenly Pill Elder, who had reached the realm of a High Earth Grade Alchemist, then he would know all kinds of Profound Core Pills like the back of his hand. He would be extremely familiar with all kinds of Profound Core Pills, and at some point, it would not be a big problem for him to have a little bit of peace of mind.

His instinct had already let him know what he should do next.

However, this was Yih Xuan's first time concocting a pill. So, it was naturally impossible for him to reach the level of Heavenly Pill Elder.

The Healing Pill was only the most basic Profound Core. So, it naturally wouldn't take as long as an hour to concoct a Profound Core like some Earth Grade Profound Core.

After a while, Yih Xuan knew that the temperature within the pill furnace was enough. The pill furnace opened, and a supplementary herb was thrown into it by Yih Xuan.

Yih Xuan's soul perception had already passed through the furnace and entered the furnace.

At this moment, the furnace was filled with a fiery red color. A herb was melting bit by bit in the furnace. Strands of impurities turned into green smoke and flew out from the ventilation hole on the furnace.

After a while, the herb turned into a medicinal liquid.

Seeing this, Yih Xuan quickly placed the second herb into the pill furnace. After a short while, the medicinal herb also turned into a medicinal liquid, becoming one with the medicinal liquid from before.

Then, Yih Xuan used the last flower spirit herb as a catalyst and placed it into the pill furnace.

Yih Xuan slightly raised the temperature of the flame. This flower spirit grass also quickly turned into a medicinal liquid, merging with the medicinal liquid in front of him.

The green and green colors of the medicinal liquid flickered. Clearly, it had not completely merged. There were still quite a number of impurities present.

Yih Xuan continued to raise the temperature of the flame. In a short while, the medicinal liquid had completely turned into a deep green color, sparkling and translucent.

Yih Xuan lowered the temperature of the flame and continued to calcine it. In a short while, the medicinal liquid turned into four deep green profound cores, quietly staying at the bottom of the pill furnace.

The human-step Profound Core did not have intelligence, so it could not fly out of the pill furnace by itself.

Yih Xuan retracted the flame, opened the pill furnace, and took out the Profound Core. The entire set of movements was smooth and natural, without the slightest pause.

The Heavenly Core Sect Elder had been watching Yih Xuan concoct the pill from the beginning until the end. Initially, he had wanted to remind Yih Xuan if anything were to happen along the way.

However, there wasn't a single problem with Yih Xuan's concoction process. He was as skilled as an old alchemist who had been concocting pills for decades, and he didn't seem nervous at all because of his first attempt.

Seeing Yih Xuan successfully concoct the Profound Core on his first attempt, the Heavenly Pill Elder was already very surprised. When he received the pill from Yih Xuan and took a closer look, his mouth was wide open in shock.

"Four Profound Core Pills, each Profound Core's quality is 90%!"

He had been watching Yih Xuan concoct pills, so he naturally knew the amount of medicinal herbs that Yih Xuan had chosen. The highest Profound Core Pill that he could concoct was four Profound Core Pills.

Although this spirit medicine could be used to concoct four Profound Cores, to truly concoct four Profound Cores was not an easy task. There was a success rate within this. Most people would already be considered quite good if they were able to refine three Profound Cores.

Although the Pain Healing Pill was only the most basic Profound Core, even if the Heaven Pill Elder refined it himself, he did not dare to guarantee that he would be able to refine four Profound Cores each time.

Coincidence? The Heavenly Pill Elder shook his head. The quantity could be coincidental, but the quality could not be the same.

A ninety percent quality Profound Core, even he would find it extremely difficult to refine.

"Monstrous, truly monstrous!"
