The small cave brightened gradually as fire swallowed the twigs the omega gathered.

"Hahh." Arlen whimpered, moping about the pain in his neck. " WHAT?!" He yelled at the man sitting across the flame, staring at him with an angry frown.

Luca looked away, but only for a second. How could he not stare? This person could have let him suffer there yet chose to save him.
