C1 Chapter 1

Su Yue had been single for three years.

A thirty-two year old woman had her own physical needs. Three years was crossing her limits.

Su Yue had no friends, so she went to the bar alone to cheer herself up. After a few glasses of whiskey, Su Yue came to a decision.

She needed to hook up with somebody.

This bar was located on the eighth floor of a seven-star hotel. It was a meeting spot for the wealthy and sophisticated people, so she was not scared that she would hook up with somebody dangerous. The hotel security also made Su Yue feel at ease.

Su Yue's gaze swept across the bar and finally stopped at the southwest corner.

Su Yue stood up and adjusted her tight-fitting skirt. Her curves were a sight to look at, the result of many years of working out. She used her phone to take a picture of herself. She looked at the seductive red lips, white skin, and a high nose, thanks to the beauty of cosmetic surgery.

She walked in the new high heels that she had bought, the season's latest fashion. The heels highlighted the stretch of her calves. Her waist swayed leisurely to a rhythm as she walked in the direction she had chosen.

Along the way, she attracted a lot of male attention.

Su Yue did not care about their gazes.

She wanted to choose a man who was young and good-looking. A bald, slightly fat, and successful middle-aged man was perhaps suitable for a partnership and marriage, but not suitable for a passionate night.

In the southwest corner, near the window, was a small table and two chairs. One of it was empty and a young man sat on the other.

He wore the latest casual wear of the season. His skin was white, and his body tall. His long legs stretched out from under the table. One could deduce that he worked out a lot, for his muscles looked very strong.

Su Yue sat down opposite him. The young man's dark gaze moved from the bright lights outside the window to her. He raised his eyebrows at her in question.

Su Yue swallowed.

Under the sword-shaped brows was a pair of dark, almod-shaped eyes. They were cold yet attractive. She saw thin lips under his high nose, a slender neck, and a protruding Adam's apple.

He was undoubtedly handsome.

"Are you single?" Su Yue raised her glass toward him.

The young man nodded and leaned back in his chair, looking at her calmly, as if he had all the time in the world.

Su Yue knew how to read people. She had come across many men, so she could tell that he was telling the truth.

"You're looking to hook up? I'll pay for the room." His eyes shone with light, as if he liked the idea of hunting, like a leopard that could attack his target with a single move.

The young man raised his eyebrows again and perused her carefully. It was very novel, like a cat who had seen a new toy...
