"Actually, I can arrange for a promotion for you..." Xiao Qian said hurriedly, ready to expose his identity.

It was not just because he wanted to pursue Su Yue that he said this. Su Yue's ability was phenomenal. She had talent that the company should nurture.

Su Yue raised her index finger to her mouth and said, "Shh!"

She looked at Xiao Gan reproachfully and said, "When you make an appointment, you cannot miss it. Why are you so imprudent?"

Xiao Qian was speechless. He turned to go to the bedroom and sat down on the edge of the bed.

He looked at Su Yue again, feeling like his heart was crushing to dust.

He felt utterly defeated.

When Su Yue finished washing up, she stopped Xiao Gan from saying more and politely sent him away. She then took a deep breath.

The last time she had complained, the chairman gave her a number and said that she could raise any further requests by calling him.

Why didn't she remember that the chairman's last name was also Xiao?

Su Yue sighed.

It wasn't that Xiao Gan did not affect her.

No one would be indifferent to that face.

When Xiao Gan reached office on Monday, he was just in time to see Su Yue resigning from her post.

Su Yue passed by her with boxes in her arms. The boxes were filled with documents and her office stuff. She said with a smile, "I anticipate that your auspicious words become true."

Miss Lin's face grew red and she did not speak again.

Xiao Gan did not care about his position. Without thinking about what it looked like to others, he pulled Su Yue's arm and walked outside. He went to the stairs. "Why did you resign?"

"A free bird chooses her own tree to live in, didn't I tell you?" Su Yue blinked innocently.

"Why didn't you tell me that you're leaving so soon?" Xiao Gan asked.

Su Yue laughed and ignored his question. "Last time, it was here on the stairs that I asked you a question."

"What question?" Xiao Gan was confused.

"Think about it." Su Yue waved her hand, pressed the elevator button, and walked in. She blew Xiao Gan a kiss.

Seeing the kiss, Xiao Gan remembered. Su Yue had once asked him, "Who are you to me? And in what capacity are you questioning me?"

Xiao Gan was angry but did not know how to vent out his feelings. He kicked the dustbin nearby, wanting to drag Su Yue to the nearby Civil Marriage Bureau. He wanted to skip the dating process and tie this woman to his side forever.

But the elevator door was already closed.

Xiao Gan quickly pressed the elevator button, waiting for it to arrive.

Time was running out. He could not wait any longer and ran down the stairs from the eleventh floor.

He had great physical endurance and ran very fast. When he reached downstairs, he saw Su Yue getting into a taxi, about to close the door.

Xiao Gan was furious and ran over to pull the door open. "Su Yue, I want to woo you. I want to date you, marry you, and have children with you!"

As she spoke, she closed the door and the taxi raced away.

Xiao Gan stared blankly at the taxi that went farther and farther away. He thought about what she said and finally understood that she had left the door still open for him.

He turned around and ran to the parking lot, wanting to catch up to the taxi.

Three years? He could not even wait for three days!
