After that day, Su Yue always saw Xiao Gan looking straight ahead and looking business-like, as if he was avoiding her or did not know her.

It was different with Ronan.

Ronan called Su Yue into his office many times, pulled down the shutters, and closed the door behind her. It only opened again after a long time had passed.

He was also exceptionally pleasant to Su Yue. If Su Yue's department had any requests, he prioritized handling them.

When Ronan was out, only Su Yue was allowed to enter his office.

The other employees were heated up and frustrated. The other department managers were so angry that they held regular meetings in this regard.

Xiao Gan did not speak up, nor did he participate. The other managers did not invite him to their meetings either.

During office hours, Xiao Gan often saw Su Yue entering and leaving Ronan's office.

At the start, he did not say a word. He only pursed his lips at the scene, a stern expression on his face.

Then, he started to stand next to Ronan's office when Su Yue left, looking at her coldly.

Su Yue completely ignored him.

She was a person who bore grudges, and she still remembered Xiao Gan's words. "Do you know what a one-night stand is?" she remembered his high and mighty arrogance.

One day, Xiao Gan couldn't help but pull Su Yue next to the staircase as she was leaving Ronan's office. "Don't you know that Ronan is married?"

Su Yue nodded. "I know."

"Then why are you still with him?!" Xiao Gan asked her seethingly with a dark face.

Su Yue blinked at him and laughed.

She reached out to him, the vermillion nail polish on her hand flashing in Xiao Gan's eyes. He watched as Su Yue drew circles on his chest. He was unable to move, as if he had been poisoned.

"What do you mean by all this?" Su Yue smiled and winked at him. "Who are you to me? And in what capacity are you questioning me?"

Xiao Gan was stunned at her question, his face turning pale.

Su Yue stood and admired his handsome face before leaving with a smile. She pulled open the door to the staircase, blew a kiss at him, and left, all the while humming a song.
