C6 Chapter 6

Su Yue once again stood inside Ronan's office, her hands soft and feminine. But when Ronan's hands went to her waist, she avoided them cleverly.

Ronan's face darkened. "Miss Su, are you playing with me?"

Su Yue lowered her head to look at the documents on the table. Her tone was frivolous as she said, "It's you who is playing with me."

"Why do you keep rejecting me? I don't have any patience left, Miss Su," Ronan gave her an ultimatum.

"Very soon, I'll let you have your fun." Su Yue's head was still lowered as she organized the documents. Ronan huffed. "I'm running out of patience.

When?" Ronan looked at Su Yue's collarbone greedily.

Su Yue gathered her things and said slowly, "Within a week."

Ronan's eyes lit up and he let Su Yue go.

Su Yue returned to her seat. Under the gazes of the other employees, she calmly turned on her phone.

An app on her phone intercepted a number of videos and placed them on the hard drive. Calmly, she got up and went straight to the chairman's office on the top floor. She handed the hard drive to his secretary, saying, "I need the chairman to see this information within ten minutes. Otherwise, I will expose it."

The secretary was a smart person. She could tell that the matter was serious and quickly went to look for the chairman.

Su Yue leaned against the neighboring wall and waited. She hummed a song.

Ronan's pig hands were recorded in the video.

That idiot probably never expected her to install a pinhole camera in his office.

Miss Lin told her that he had no background to become to director. He only knew how to curry favor with others and often accompanied the higher ups to play cards. That was good. Su Yue had managed to kick him away the first time, so she could kick him away a second time too.

The chairman was prompt in his actions. In less than ten minutes, he called her in and told her, "We will definitely fire Ronan. Miss Su, I have high expectations from you and your performance has been outstanding. We are determined to nurture you."

Su Yue sat behind the table and nodded in understanding.

But she wanted benefits, not just good impressions.

The chairman changed his tone. "Miss Su, you must have something you'd like in exchange?"

Su Yue did not deny it.

The chairman asked her again with a grim smile, "Then what can the company do to make you stay?"

Su Yue took a deep breath and began to brief him of her glorious achievements during her work tenure. Many of her achievements were a benchmark for others.

Su Yue finished by saying, "I feel that I can handle Ronan's position and will do better than him. I'm not saying this because I am threatening to expose the video otherwise, but because I really feel that Ronan is not suitable for the position. He has dragged down the business department. My feelings for the company go deeper than his do. I want to develop the company. I want to make it grow."

After a moment of silence, the chairman stared at Su Yue. Su Yue and the chairman looked at each other with a smile.

After about a dozen seconds of this staredown, the chairman said, "I am convinced, not because of your grievance, but because of your ambition and achievements."

Su Yue heaved a sigh of relief in her heart. She thanked him and left.
