C2 Who is that girl part 1

Dennis sat down in her room trying to study some words she just learnt online, she was disturbed by the little ray of light that flashed through the window and she stood up to cover the window properly to block every light out of the room.

She checked the doors and locked them again then went back to sit on the floor and continued with her study, she soon finished and felt a bit hungry but she ignores it and start to clean the room all over again

She heard a knock on the door and stopped not sure who it could be; she doesn't have any friends and no one to visit her

She opened the door slightly and stretches her neck out to see if she can catch a glimpse of who it is

“Am sorry but you have to drop the money for groceries” a voice said from the door

“I dropped the money at the usual place” Dennis told her and closes the door not waiting to hear a reply

The voice belongs to one of her housemate although she doesn’t know who,

Dennis lives with three other girls but doesn't associate or talk with them, she recognizes one of them though and that's because she had to take care of her when she in a terrible condition one night and no one was home but the girl doesn't know and thought her friend did.

“What did she say?” Dennis heard one of them queried

“She place the money at the usual place” the voice earlier answered

“But why doesn’t she ever come out of her room? Sometimes she scares me that I might be living with a ghost” the third girl said and one of them quickly cautioned her

“She can hear you”

“What if she can? Is not like she will come out of her room” she replied

“Maybe she is sick or something?”

“Or like a vampire or zombie?” the first girl said and laughed

Dennis turned on her phone and starts to play songs to avoid listening to them; whatever they think of her is none of her business

She gained admission into the university two years ago and is in her third year now, she doesn't relate with anybody at all both in and outside the school and never talks in class so no one knows

She is even a student except one of the lecturer who is like her guardian and the chairman of the school board who gave her a full scholarship to study in his school for free after seeing her outstanding and great results.

She never participates in anything aside studying online and make sure that she doesn't show her face in public or online.

She lives in the house alone in her first year but at the beginning of her first year, two new students joined her and the third girl arrived at the beginning of this session.

Dennis looked at the toilet roll on the desk and it's move toward her by itself and Dennis cleaned her hands with it. She looked at it again and it return back to the desk and she start to look at other things and clean the room without removing a finger.

…After cleaning, reading and eating for the whole day, Dennis start to arrange the things she will need for school the next day and lay down on her bed removing her glasses

The only thing now is to wait for the next day so she can take the test she has used all day to prepare for and then go back to the place she calls home...

Dennis wake up at three in the morning and take her bath after which she cleaned up the bathroom and wore one of her black underwear and put on a black and blue top with a black trousers for class then wore a jacket with a detachable hood on it and went back inside her room to study more.

She is studying physiology in school, she tries not to have a perfect score in school so people's attention will not be drawn to her and so far she has been able to maintain the second best, after all no one cares about the second when there is a first.

Dennis slept off two hours later and her alarm went off at exactly 7:50am and she opened her eyes and sat up on the bed, grabs her bag on the bed, wore her glasses and closed her eyes then she appears in the classroom where she is to have her lecture for that morning.

The test is by eight and after she appeared in class, two students also entered and saw down in front of her, Dennis is sitting towards the back of the class and she place her head on the desk to wait for the lecturer to come in.

The test soon start and she quickly finished hers but remain in the hall till two to three submit theirs before standing up and submitting to the lecturer then walks out of the class with her head down but end up pumping into someone at the door and came crashing to the floor

"Oh shit!" Dennis heard a guy's voice and raised her head pulling the hood away from her face a little bit so she can apologized

"Sorry" she mouthed and twisted her face in dislike. It's obvious he bumped into her but she apologized so she won't have to argue with him and tries to walk past him but the guy stops her and tries to look at her face

"Who are you?" She heard him say but push him aside roughly and walk away without answering him

"Stupid" Dennis mouthed as she goes towards her guardian office to show herself to him before he start to think she has disappeared or something.

Peace's POV

"What was that?" He said after the strange girl pushed him and looked pissed, he has just messed up his test because he was out partying the whole weekend and didn't have the time to revise not to even think that the lecturer set the question on a topic he ignored and that might drop his grades.

Kayla, Peace's girlfriend for a long time now also comes out of the lecture room and touched him on the shoulder to get his attention

"Gosh, I fucked up this test" she complained although it's visible on her face that she isn’t bothered about the test but just want to make Peace think she is.

Kayla is called the most beautiful girl in the whole department and could be said to be same in the whole school, she wore a crop-top with a bum shot and a red jacket and heels to match then let her smooth and blonde hair down falling on her shoulder.

She has been dating Peace for almost four years now and is envied by everyone for being so lucky to date such a perfect guy; they are always referred to as the best couple in school.

"How about we grab something at the eatery outside the school to calm my troubled brain" she said and without waiting for him to reply, she pulls him towards his parked car and took the keys from his pocket without asking.

Peace snort in annoyance and took the keys away from her

"Hey, what's wrong? You haven't smiled since after the test" she asked and hugged him closely to herself, placing her lips near his lips but Peace turned his face away making her kiss land on his cheek instead.

Kayla pull away from him annoyed and then start with her usual drama of crying and asking if he wants to break up with her.

"Am not breaking up with you" Peace said when she is starting to get loud and attract people's attention to them

"Am just feeling down a little bit" he told her and opened the door for her to get in

"Really? Do you have issues on this test also?" She asked concerned and stood at the door not going inside, she pull him closer again and touched his face

"Why don't we have a real quickie in your car to put a smile on your face?" She suggested and already starts to kiss and pull at his clothes.

Peace react and pull her more to himself and start to kiss her slowly, Kayla smiled in between their kiss and start to slowly put off the button on his shirt one after the other

He hold her gently into the car making her back rest on the seats and he removed her crop top and move her bra away from her bosom about to kiss her there but he stopped and stood up instead which pissed Kayla off again and she looked at him questioningly and Peace just shrugged and said to go eat something first.

Kayla reluctantly agreed and concluded that he must have done badly on his test to reject sex from her and put on her clothes then rearrange her hair and sat down properly. Peace also got into the car and zoom off to the eatery.

Peace is a very handsome guy with a figure to die for; he has rich parents and doesn't lack anything in terms of money and popularity.

To top it all, he is the best in the basketball team and the top student in his department. Anyone who says one cannot be perfect haven't met Peace Brown, he is the perfect kind of guy and he is also responsible and doesn't do drugs or go out with a lot of girls at the same time like most guys his age do.

Peace mind drift back to the girl he bumped into earlier and he frown his face, he wanted to apologize after bumping into her but she was more quick to do that.

He wonders who she is because he doesn’t remember seeing or knowing someone like that in his department and she even has glasses on.

He is practically the most popular person in the school and no one in his department will deny knowing him but the girl seems not to know him which makes him feels a little bit sad, he brush the thought off when he arrive at his destination and tap Kayla who is busy talking to her friends on her phone and opened the door to go in.
