C3 Who is that girl part 2

Dennis knock on the door and entered into the office, she met two other students who are probably there to see him for something and stood at a corner turning her face away and faced the wall.

professor Luther immediately attend to the student and asked them to come to him later If there is still a problem and the both of them thanked him before leaving.

"You are here late" Luther said. He is a man in his forties but he looks so young for his age and even became a professor early.

"And you are wearing you tacky brown shoes again" Dennis pointed out and took a seat in front of him.

Sometimes, she feels like she doesn't know who he is exactly, he has been taking care of her for a long time now and he's almost like her father but Dennis still feels like he is a stranger especially when he sees through her

"You must have done well on your test today, seeing that you have the time to notice my shoes" Luther respond in the same manner and stood up from his seat.

He walks closer to Dennis and observes her closely but she sits still not reacting to his stare and strange behavior like she is used to them

"Take off your clothes" he commanded and Dennis complies. She lifts her top slightly and some green marks can be seen on her body

"It has increased more" Luther said and asked her to pull it off more and then he saw that the green marks is all over her body

"Why didn't you tell me?" He screamed at her in fear. Then move his hand over her body slowly trying to observe the marks but Dennis remain unfazed

Luther step away from her and removed his suit, he closed his eyes briefly then stretch forth his hands to her body, Dennis yelled in pain not ready for the hit and then went silent as she endure the sting.

Luther continued to treat her with a ray of red lightning showing in his hand and the marks start to turn red and it slowly becomes like her normal skin.

The exercise took them about one hour and after everything, Dennis is covered with sweat, Luther pull away his hands and went back to sit down and let Dennis come back to her senses slowly.

She groan in pains, grinds her teeth and held onto the desk tightly, suddenly her eyes turned blue and it was so bright that it tears through the wall, Luther was quick to bend down before it gets to him and the light break the painting just above his seat then as suddenly as it came, the light stopped and her eyes turned normal again and she collapsed.

Luther raised his head to see if everything is okay now and sighed in relief after seeing her, he rush to her ad tap her gently calling her name.

Dennis answered by moving her finger, she feels so tired and tries to keep her eyes opened. Luther turned to his painting and almost cried when he saw that it is totally ruined, he bite his hand instead of screaming out loud and hugged the painting to his chest.

"I will go now" Dennis who just find the strength to stand said and tries to walk out but he stops her

"You can't go to class right now, you are still weak" he told her but Dennis promised him that she is fine and she has no class in two hours from now so he let her go then calls someone to come clean up the mess and amend the wall.

Dennis soon appeared in her room and throws herself on the bed to sleep, she has regained most of her energy but still wants to sleep and relax in a bit.

She heard one of her roommate come in and turns on the TV then slowly drifts off to sleep and dreams about the day her mother was killed again

Peace's POV

Peace whispered to Kayla's ears for the third time to let them get out of the party but she wouldn't listen and turned back to her friends again.

He really wants to go back home and read for tomorrow's class because the lecturer is a very strict person who asks questions all the time but Kayla keep bringing up excuses for them to hang out at her friend’s party.

Peace doesn't know which of her friends is having a party because she has way too many friends but she insist and asked him to make it up to her for not attending her mother's birthday last month.

He returned to a small room where some guys from school and others he doesn't know are sitting and talking about some girls and their relationship. He sat down but didn't join their discussion and sip quietly on his drink.

After another ten minutes, he decides to leave by himself and apologize to her the next day then he dropped his drink and rode out of the party to his car. He came to a stop in front of his house and tried to reach his phone then discovered he has left it at the party.

"Damn it!" He complained and starts to drive back then someone suddenly run out in front of his car and he pressed the brake in shock almost hitting the person

Peace rushed out of the car to see if the person he hits is okay and sees that it's a girl and not just any girl but the girl he bumped into earlier today

"Hey, it's you. Are you okay? Why did you jump in front of the car like that?" He questioned frightened that he almost killed someone

The girl raised her head and gave him an innocent look; she isn't covering her face and looks different and beautiful even without make-up.

She has shoulder length blonde hair unlike Kayla whose hair is long and wore a short black gown with slippers and a face cap but her face is still visible Peace quickly stopped himself from staring at her and stretches forth his hands to help her up but she slapped his hand away and run off instead to his surprise.

"What a weirdo" Peace was pissed and scolds himself for thinking she is beautiful.

He got into his car away and got to the party where Kayla is already waiting for him and start to nag about him leaving her behind at the party.
