C7 {Movie night}

JOANE'S POV,

* Saturday- 9:15am

I woke up, clad in a pink fluffy pyjamas; I walked into the bathroom without insulting any of the maids, which felt strange.

I lazily got dressed into a crop top with a denim skirt that had a slim belt- like sleeve attached to it which laid on my shoulders.

Staying at home was super boring.

'Urghh! How does this scumbags do it' I thought, rolling my eyes.

"Maybe I should call Angelo and Scarlett to fix a movie night with them" I said to myself.

Just then, flashes of what happened two days and three days ago kept flooding into my mind.

The sensation I felt when my skin brushed against his; his words and the name he gave me, the dinner and finding out that the cold CEO was the brother of Angelo.

Soon, I found myself giggling at my thoughts,

'What's wrong with me? Cold CEO, get out of my head' My mind shouted while my heart beats increased at the thought of him.

'I hate him!' I struggled within myself but I knew I was lying to myself.

I quickly picked up my phone, dialling two numbers and clicking on video call. They picked almost immediately.

📞 "Hey princess and cutie" Angelo called out as usual.

📞 "Hi girl" Scarlett called out.

📞 "Gawwd! I'm so bored at home" I blurted.

📞 "Same here" Scarlett whined.

📞 "Me too"Angelo whined.

Their smiles instantly turned into a frustrated look which made me laugh hard.

📞 "Got any plans Lina" Scarlett asked with a pouted lips.

📞 "Aww! You look so cute when you pout" Angelo cooed making her cheeks flush red.

📞 "I was thinking if we could go out for lunch and then go to the cinema for some movies... How does that sound" I asked.

📞 "Great" Scarlett remarked.

📞 "Awesome... Can my elder brother tag along?" Angelo asked.

My heart skipped a beat on hearing about him.

📞 "Sure,what's his name?" Scarlett asked with a smile.

📞 "Miguel..." Angelo stated.

📞 "So Mr cold has a name... I'll text you guys the address of the restaurant where we'll meet" I said.

📞 "Okay, see ya princess and cutie" Angelo said.

📞 "Bye" We said in unison.

I ended the video call; wore my white sneakers and left the mansion.

-> OLEANA RESTAURANT

We walked into the restaurant; it was just a short drive from school and a long drive from home. We took our seats and placed our orders.

"Where's your elder brother? Why didn't he show up?" Scarlett asked in a daze.

"Uhm! Something came up and he had to leave" Angelo said. Strangely, his absence made me sad.

"But he'll join us at the cinema" Angelo continued.

"Oh!" I said calmly, I felt relieved that I'd meet him.

"What should we order?" Scarlett asked, still glancing at the menu.

"Uhm! Some hot dogs, macaroni and spiced chicken" I said.

"I want some tapas, tortilla and gazpacho" Scar said.

"And I'll have whatever Scarlett will have" Angelo stated making scar blush.

We marked out our orders and soon, the waiters rushed to our table to pick up the menu which contained what we wanted.

Within minutes, our foods were placed on our table as we munched on it.

-> BRATTLE THEATRE

The cinema hall was specially booked for us which meant that we were the only audience allowed to enter the hall, Mr cold included.

We were seated comfortably with our snacks in our hands. Mr cold still hadn't showed up and I was feeling uneasy about it.

The movie begun and our gaze got fixed on the huge screen.

"Hey!" His voice echoed out as we turned to face him.

"You made it here big bro" Angelo said with a smile while I scoffed,but inwardly, I was happy.

"Hi Miguel" scar said cheerfully while Mr cold raised a brow.

"Yeah... I told them your name" Angelo said as Mr Cold's face became blank again.

"Hey miss rudey..." Miguel called out, seating beside me. I could feel his cold gaze on me and I didn't want to look into those cold blue eyes.

"Uhm! Excuse me... I need to use the restroom" i said, standing up and leaving.

"I'll be right back" Miguel said leaving too.
