CHAPTER TEN

"I..." She couldn't even finish up with her word when she felt her leg slipping as her back kept moving alongside her body moving the direction her leg slipped to.

Reaching the ground, she felt someone grip on her; obviously Luca.

"Luca what is it again!?" She asked angrily.

"Preventing my wife from breaking her head when she has an audition tomorrow— Is that a crime?". He asked before walking back to his laptop.

"Please stop caring about me 'cause it hurts me each time you do so and I am not your wife! This sh!t is only a fake relationship for three months which is stated in the contract". She made things clear to him to avoid confusing herself.

"You are to do everything any wife will do for her husband and I will do the same except only for intimacy". He replied.

"And you scold me at the hall after saving your skin from mock? And you refuse to give me a ride? Or get me a new dress? Is that what every husband does for their wife?". She spat rudely as tears rolled from her eyes.

“Am I crying?” She asked herself as she cleaned her face immediately.

"You started it! I saved your life! I save your face from getting destroyed, yet you did not appreciate me and you expect appreciation? Is that how greedy you are?" He asked coldly.

"Good night. I can't continue this hell of a conversation with you". With that, she walked back into her room and she fell asleep after a few minutes on her bed.

~~~~NEXT MORNING~~~~

"Maybe it 's time to wake up and take your bath". Bill said, trying to wake Ivan who looked stressed out.

With her eyes still closed, she asked. "Can't the auditioning be shifted or canceled for today?"

"Mrs Ivan this isn't your husband or your father's company. The movie industry isn't biassed and they do their stuff with dedication and I'm afraid you will lose the role to your come— "Just by mentioning 'competitors', she immediately jerked off her bed and headed to the bathroom.

She hastily took her bath and put on the dress she bought yesterday.

"Mrs. Ivan, you need something s&&y for the audition". Bill informed her.

"Explosive dress?". She asked, trying to know what it meant.

"Dress like this". Bill said as she showed her a strip dress but this is so much different and revealing than the one she does watch in movies.

"But how can I wear this thing that reveals my whole body. A married woman like me, no I can't". She dejected.

"There is no marriage in career because your husband won't consider you if he is to have sex outside his relationship to pull his competition down. Have you ever thought of that? ". Bill asked with sincerity in her voice.

“True talk, not as if we are truly married”. She thought.

"You will be putting on this jacket to cover your body until you get there cause we are already late and won't have the time to dress up". Bill said.

"Okay". She replied and immediately took off her towel and put on the stripping robe.

"You look like the sexy Yen indeed". Bill commented as she combed her soft hair gently.

"Thank you. I think we should be more than workers and bosses". She chuckled as Bill joined her.

"I can't because I have been paid to work and not to be friends with my boss". She said after applying the final touch on her hair and face.

“Woah!” her lip pouted at how beautiful she is in the mirror.

"Let go". Bill said as he walked out.

"But can't I have hot tea?". Ivan asked.

"No tea. You are on a diet". Bill replied hastily.

Luca, who had been stealing glances from her, asked. "Ivan, where are you going without my permission!?"

"I... I am going to audition!" She replied with her voice a little bit tough.

"Like this? Don't you have shame? Are you going to a club? Have you forgotten you are married?" He asked with concern and anger in his voice as his eyes said nothing but fright.

"And how does that have to do with you and besides my private life is none of your business just as mine is none of yours". Ivan replied rudely about going when he dragged her back.

"I will cancel the audition, give your role to another person and end your acting career if you don't take this sh!t off!" He ordered.

"Hehehe. So funny you know! Besides I dare you to try doing all what you just mentioned". She spat rudely and took his hand off her, before walking into the car.

"Drive fast before that b* come for me". She instructed her driver.

~~~AUDITIONING LOCATION*ARROW AND HEART**

"Thank". She said after she alighted from the car.

"No thanks. It's my job". The driver said before driving off.

"Ma the auditioning will soon start". Bill informed her.

"Then let's walk fast". She said walking hastily among the crowd without even caring about her jacket which fell off.

"Ma'am your jacket just fell off". Bill informed.

"Not like I care about the jacket". She said walking through the crowd until she got to the auditioning hall.

"We are finally here". She mouthed as she took her script from her when she realized she hadn't gone through anything.

"Ma don't worry. I made an audio copy of your script. Take this ear pin". She said as she handed it over to her.

"It will help listen to the audio right?". She asked and her secretary nodded her head.

After the assurance, she walked into the hall as all eyes turned their gaze to her.

"I'm sorry I came late. Please can we begin—"

"No need to be sorry. Mrs Luca, here is the man acting the ML role". The bald manager said as he informed the writer and producer about the acting 'Yen' presence.

"She looks so much like Yen and her presence speaks of fire". They commended.

She raised her head up to see who the Ml is but was shocked to see it!

"Andrew? Yo..."

"Ivan, are you Mrs Luca?". Andrew asked as he found it unbelievable.

Andrew used to be her boyfriend and only supporter before he travelled abroad for knowledge acquisition.
