CHAPTER FOUR

Turning towards the direction where he heard the voice... His mouth went agape.

"Lucian?".

"She is my guest, let go of her". Lucian said with a curly smile on his face.

"Lucian, why is she here?". Luca asked as he let go of her neck.

While gasping from what just happened, she crawled to the freezer and took a bottle of water which she gulped down gently.

"Buy me some respect 'cause I'm still your stepfather". He mouthed before walking into the living room.

With his hand firmly on the table. "You used to be my step-father when my mum was alive but not anymore so get the fuck outta my life!"

He has always hated this man who sees himself as his step-father, he always pretends to be cool with him when his mother was alive but not anymore.

"You have to calm down and know the reason why he came from Lilly City to Lime City". Grey said calmly.

"And do I care?" He uttered with rage in his voice.

Ivan who is at the other edge only stood still with her gaze on the two men standing opposite her.

“They both look hot, especially the one in the suit and he isn't as rude as that Playboy”. She thought naughtily.

To her, all guys in pants and T-shirts are playboys and not as responsible as the suit men.

"Ivan". She heard her name from outside the kitchen.

“It must be Mr. Lucian”. She thought and immediately walked out.

"Let's join them, maybe he wants to remarry and walk the hell out of your house". Grey teased.

"Whatever!"

They both walked out of the kitchen and headed into the living room.

He gave Lucian a dreadful look and a disgusting look at Ivan who sat calmly with her rough hair fallen on her shoulder.

He took his seat and waited for Lucian to start talking but instead, he was scrolling through his phone.

"Lucian, what brought you here?". He asked.

"Cause I want you to start the conversation". He said as he placed his phone on the table in between them.

“What is he up to?”. He asked himself.

"Have you gotten yourself a bride for the marriage? Or don't you want to become the president of your mother company?". Grey asked with his expressionless face staring at Luca.

“What is he up to?”. Ivan asked herself as many thoughts came to her mind after hearing those words of Lucian.

“Did he want to arrange an arranged marriage between my poor classless self and this rich pompous man?”. She asked herself.

"Why are you asking?". Luca asked.

"Cause you spent a night with a man and your fiance said your relationship was under contract". He said with a grin.

To Luca, those lies are like flames that are burning him already. He has already come out to the public to announce himself as not being gay.

"Lucian, how many times will I tell you that I am not gay and what evidence did you have to confirm myself being gay?". Luca asked with his gaze fully on his stepfather.

"But I was here yesterday". Grey whispered to him.

"I know". He whispered back.

"Will this video be enough?". He asked as he showed them the video of Luca acting messy with Grey.

They both watched the video and stared at each other.

Like he already knew the mess he put himself into, he muttered. “Fvck! I'm not going to escape this one!”

"How dare you bug my house!?" He asked with rage in his voice.

"I did not, your mother bugged it before she died and I was just passing by then my sharp eyes caught up with it". With a curled smile, he said as he showed him the camera.

The camera is that of his mother but he still finds it hard that he was bugged for fifteen years.

"Good thing about it, is that after the management watched it, they weren't mad at you even though they are homophobic, all they want is for you to come to the conference with your wife today or they will leak the video to the public and you know what that means right?" Lucian asked with his already lighted cigarette in between his lips.

Luca has no choice but to follow the order of Lucian cause he knows what will happen if the video got to the public but will he still go and beg the lady who cheated on him?

With his mind made up, he muttered. "I will but I can't get married to Nora".

"What are you doing? Did you want to go into a contract marriage or what the heck is wrong with you, huh?". Grey whispered with sadness in his voice.

"I have no choice because if I do not, I will lose my position as the successor of Luc's group". He whispered back.

"I got today prepared already and don't you think I am doing this for you— I am only doing this for your mother". He paused and his eyes caught up with that of Ivan and Luca too turned his gaze to her body.

“Is he referring to me?”. She asked herself, trying to keep her calm.

"How? What preparation?" Luca asked calmly even if it felt weird to him because this is the first time he spoke calmly to his step-father.

"Here is Ivan Smith, she is a professional actress in Freeland city and the actress with the major role in Arrow and Heart". He said.

"Bim!" She received a message from Lucian who smiled at her.

“Just follow every personality I gave to you and cooperate— an extra 5 million if you cooperate and many other bonuses”. The message read.

"She is the daughter of a professor at Silver Highschool and her mother is Mrs Welson the president of Wels Oil and natural resources '. He said.

Ivan bit her lower lips as she couldn't resist the laughter after hearing her family's personality.

"I thought as much. That's why she can't even cook without getting it burnt— So lazy".

Luca's words add up to her laughter but she has no choice other than to suppress it but she couldn't.

She burst into a sudden laughter which made the three of them turn their gaze to her.

"Why—?"
