CHAPTER FIVE

"Why— the laughter?". Luca asked.

"Because you sound so sweet and I am beginning to like you". She smiled with her hand massaging her thigh seductively.

"I think I will leave you both to sign the marriage contract documents and have fun". Lucian seized that opportunity to speak up.

"Fun? With your toy?". Luca spat rudely as he stood up and arranged his shirt.

"Luca, aren't you going to sign the documents?". Lucian asked.

"My secretary will bring me the documents and I will get you the feedback". He mouthed as he walked up to him.

“Don't you dare to play dirty games with me using a twenty-year-old little bunny”. With that, he walked out with Grey who had been quiet all along.

"And you think I will stoop so low to do that? I am only doing this because of my beloved late wife". He whispered to him before he could walk out.

"Mr. Lucian, why didn't you inform me that you are going to arrange a contract marriage between us? Am I some sort of toy!?" She asked angrily.

She can condole everything but not make a joke or toy with her cause she is a classless lady.

Raising his head slowly, he replied to her with a question. "Did you think you could lure him if you did not get close to him?"

"Woah, so you deceived me to get your stepson a wife? What else did you have to say other than con me!" She half yelled.

"Then quit! Did you think paying 5 million USD is a joke!?" He asked with bitterness in his voice.

"Fine, it's no joke but are my feelings a joke?" She asked again but loudly this time.

"Like I will say, you can quit and you know what happens if you quit right— your career as an actress will be over, I will make sure you did not star in any movie in this country and you will be back to begging your stepmother... Is that what you want or accept this offer and let your stepmother and sister come to beg you and praise you!"

Each word from his sentence is a fire to her, burning every bone inside her and this is an opportunity that she shouldn't lose.

"I will take it," she said after thinking thoroughly about it.

To her, there is no going back since she is already into it. No need to try to be a saint when she already accepted to lure him in the first place and marrying him was a good path to pave.

"Good girl. I will communicate your next action to you but before then, meet at the Movie location to collect your..." He said.

"But sir— I did not know how to read". She said bluntly.

"Don't worry, your secretary will help you with that".

Looking confused at his words she asked, "Secretary?"

"Your secretary will come to pick you up and head to the location so don't be bothered because I got your back". With that, he walked out of the mansion and headed to his car which he drove off afterward.

"I think I have to change my dress 'cause I can't go there this way". She said as she checked out her dress which was already smelling burnt and her hair messy.

She immediately headed to her bathroom and took a shower before searching for the dress to put on.

She checked each of the dresses but the same complaint, ‘either too short or tight’.

She has no choice but to choose a silver colored gown which is just a little bit below her butt and a black pointed heel to match her purse which has a silver rope attached to it.

She checked out herself in the mirror after she combed her hair which she left fallen on her bare chin.

Staring at herself in the mirror, she mouthed in frustration "I look like a slut in this dress" before heading out.

"Ma'am, I am here to pick you up ." The driver said with his head lowered and gaze glued to the ground.

"I can board a cab so no need to be here". She said calmly.

"It's an order". The man says, making her blink her eyes.

"I just hate this hellish way of life— that my desperation has caused me". She spat before walking into the car.

In the car, her eyes caught up with a skinny beautiful blonde-haired lady.

"Who are you? What are you doing here? Are you here to abduct me?". She asked hastily in fright.

"Madam I will do no such thing because I'm your secretary and here is your schedule". The blonde-haired lady said as she stretched a screen to her.

"Lo-lo-lo". She tried to pronounce the word but couldn't as she knew nothing about pronunciation because she dropped out of school after she lost her parents.

"Movie location at 11:00 am". The secretary read out, making her feel relaxed.

"Okay. Thank you".

"Tutorials by 2:00 pm". She read out again.

"Is that all for today?". She asked, playing with her finger.

"Yes ma'am. That is all for today".

~~~~STARLIGHT MOVIE INDUSTRY~~~

Finding her manager's words unbelievable, she roughed her hair before asking to confirm if he wasn't joking. "What did you mean by 'I can't get the major role that another person has taken!?’."

"I'm sorry, even your fiance can't do anything and we also can't do anything because the person for the role is Lucian Person ''. The bald head man said.

"Who the fuck is she and why did Lucian do to me! Why!?" Burning in anger, She asked.

"Maybe because you aren't fit for the role and he can't allow his investment to waste and even the writer of the movie doesn't want you". With a crooked laugh, the man echoed.

"Will you also do this to me after scratching your back and doing other sh!t with you?". She asked.

"I-"

"The lady for the major role is here". His secretary announced the presence of the major role actress present.

“Who is it that dares take my place in this space? It looks like the person wants nothing other than a bitter death!” palming her face, she uttered as her body fumed.

"Let her come in". He replied and the door opened.

The elegant lady walked in with her hair moving sideways as the air from the room blew.

She looks hot and the exact image of Xen!

"Good day, sir". Her voice made Nora raise her head.

"Ivan! Are you— the actress!?"
