Ivanna felt a gaze on her. She looked up and met the eye of the princess, she could've sworn she saw malice and hatred in those eyes that it gave her goosebumps but within a few seconds Tanya's eyes turned soft and she smiled at her. Ivanna thought it was her imagination and just brushed it off.

"Your highness, I would really like to stay and know the prince better" Tanya replied sweetly taking a glance at Ian who immediately excused himself and left the table.

The emperor sighed "You see the prince is a little difficult to handle. I hope you'll be able to bear with him"

"No worries your highness" Tanya said with a smile.

"C'mon Ivy. Can't you stay tonight? Just this one night and I won't ask again"

Ivanna looked at the pouting princess trying to convince her and felt a headache coming on. "Fifi... I... "

"When I look outside just now, it looked like it was going to rain. You definitely won't be able to get home on time and you know how I get scared of the storm. C'mon Ivy" Fiona made a pitiful face tugging on Ivanna's cloth and that was all it took to convince her.

Ivanna sighed pinching the space between her brows "Fine..."

"Yay! Haha, I knew you would agree. You just can't bear to abandon a beauty like me huh"

Ivanna didn't know why but she kept getting goosebumps unnecessarily. Her heart feared for something that was yet to come. Something she had no idea about but this uneasy feeling was just too strange. She couldn't just brush it off.

Watching Fiona sleep at the other side of the bed, she came down lightly not wanting to wake her up. A gust of cold wind hit her then she heard the sound of something fall and paused in her steps and bent down to pick it up. She saw it was just a round object like a clock yet it also wasn't. She couldn't figure out what the object was so she just placed it on the table. Seeing that the window was open and that was where this extremely cold breeze was coming from, she went forward to close it but then decided to look out for a while.

She froze at her spot the moment she looked out, her heart hammering in her chest at the scene below. There, in the darkness, a woman in a black cloak had her back to her and then a man who was kneeling and shaking miserably from fear. Ivanna wondered what was happening and just decided to watch despite her fear. Before she knew it, the woman in the black cloak grabbed the man and sank her teeth into his neck, draining his blood from his body. Ivanna's heartbeat accelerated watching this scene, she had never seen anything like this, she just stood there frozen like a statue until the cloaked woman turned around with blood dripping out from her mouth that held an evil grin. Their eyes met.

"Tanya?" Ivanna whispered, before she knew it, the woman was in front of her with that same wicked smile on her face.

"We meet again"

Ivanna woke up with a start, beads of sweat dripping from her face as she clutched her chest. She glanced at Fiona who was snoring lightly and got down from the bed. She happened to step on an object which she picked up and was confused for a moment.

This object was thesame one that fell in her dream and it was right on thesame spot it had fallen. She didn't know what kind of object it was but just placed it back on the table.

"Strange" She thought and went to close the windows, her throat felt dry so she went out to get a glass of water. The whole place was so quiet that you would even hear a pin drop. It was expected though because it was in the middle of the night but why did it give her a kind of eerie feeling? She poured a cup of water for herself and turned around only to bump into a human wall. The glass of water fell to the ground and her first reaction was to scream but the man covered her mouth. She tried to struggle but the man was too strong for her as he started to drag her away. He opened the door to a room and threw her in locking the door behind him.

Ivanna didn't waste any time the moment she was free and quickly threw a kick to the man.

"Ouchhh..." The man groaned in pain and turned around to meet her eyes. "Did you have to hit him me that hard?"

Ivanna was shocked for a moment before she breathed a sigh of relief "Ian... What did you do that for?"

"What?"

"I thought I was being kidnapped! Why... Why did you bring me here?"

"Idiot, you're being kidnapped. Why do you think I'll bring you to this empty room?" Ian said clutching his leg and not forgetting to glare at her. He wasn't expect that kick at all.

"Well, this is your room" she said looking around the room he called empty "why aren't you sleeping?"

"I heard noises and came out to check"

"Oh! How did you manage to take me off guard like that? I didn't hear you come in at all" Ivanna raised a brow as she felt he was hiding something.

"Its only because you weren't listening"

"Hmphh" Ivanna glanced at him "I better get going before anyone sees me here"

"Why? What's wrong with being here like this?"

"This is your room Ian and its also the middle of the night. What do you think happens between two young adults of the opposite sex in this conditions? Even if nothing happens, others wouldn't believe it"

"Then" Ian stepped closer to her "would you want something to happen?" He asked with a suggestive gaze.

Ivanna felt her heart picking up speed. She blinked twice trying her best not to get flustered "W-what are you talking about?"

Ian raised a brow and came even closer. His gaze was dark and his voice husky as he spoke "You really don't know what I'm talking about?"

Ivanna nodded, her heart racing faster with each step he was taking closer and closer to her.

"Then" He paused, using his hands to tuck her hair behind her ear. His breath was all over her face as he spoke "I have no other choice than to show you"
