C4 TREATMENT

ADAM

2:00 am

I could not sleep because of the very fast events. I'm afraid that if I close my eyes it will just become a dream. She's here in my arms, embracing me. I can't help myself but to just stare into her face and peck a kiss on her swollen lips.

"I've loved you the moment I laid my eyes on you, I know that moment that you are mine, only mine. You're making me crazy," I said as I trailed my hands to her hair, I love this woman so much that it makes me crazy just thinking of her.

My phone vibrates after I pull the blanket to her. I glanced at the time, saying 2:20 in the morning. I answered the phone call without glancing at the caller ID.

"Adam," answered in the second line.

"Why did you call Keiro?" I straightly asked.

"Wow, man, is that how you greet a friend of yours?" he chuckled in the second line.

"Well we should get going unto our deal because I will be leaving tomorrow due to an emergency," he added.

"Emergency," I frowned with what he had said. It hasn't even been a week then he will leave again.

"Yes. My father needs me for his company but I will not stay longer there," he replied.

"Okay, so what time are we gonna meet?"

"That's why I called. Right now, I'm here at the Cleff Bar."

I give a deep sigh because it's too early for a meeting and I don't have enough sleep these past few days.

"Okay. Give me 30 minutes," I answered as I ended the call not waiting for his reply.

I carefully left the bed to keep her asleep. I guess the 30 minutes I said to him will turn into an hour. I need to take a bath first to freshen up my mind for another day.

After I fixed myself I looked at Mirana who was sleeping soundly and left a note saying, 'I have a meeting and I'll be right back. Your breakfast is served in the kitchen.'

MARINA

6:40 am

The sun was shining on me. I observed the room first and I remembered that I am not in my room. My core feels sore when I try to move. I remember what happened last night and when I looked at my side, he was gone. I found a sticky note on the table and read it loudly.

Mirana,

I have a meeting and I'll be right back. Your breakfast is served in the kitchen.

Adam

"Mirana I don't understand why you want to leave Adam," I thought as I glanced at the picture of Adam and Mirana in the table.

My mind woke up when my cell phone rang.

I look at the caller's ID; my heart beats fast as I look at the name of the caller, its Mirana. I don't know if I will answer the call or just let it go because I don't know what to say to her.

"Hello?" I finally answered.

"Marina, why did you take the time to answer the call? " she exclaimed in the second line.

"Sorry. I'm still taking a shower," I lied.

"Have you done what I am to tell you what to do? Have you seen him?" he asked me one step at a time.

"Y-yes I have seen him actually I'm with him. I haven't done what you asked me to do. "

" That's good news. You are together but you must do what I tell you, Marina. Don't stay there and don't tell her the truth because I'm up to it, " she stated firmly.

My tears fall fluently in my face, I don't even know why I was crying.

"How are you there?" I asked as I wiped my tears.

"I'm fine in here, I'm with Marco right now," she replied, not bothering to ask me if I'm fine in here.

"That's good to hear," I replied softly.

"Okay message me if you've done it," she said before ending the call.

I slowly dropped my phone in the bed and kneeled down. My heart sank up in pain. I do not know what to do.

F&B Restaurant

After talking with Keiro about the deal I headed here in the restaurant.

"Good morning, Sir Adam. May I take your order?" the lady asked politely. They had known me since Mirana and I had always been here but when she was gone I was the only one eating here.

"Take-out, as I always ordered," I said.

"Right away, Sir. Accompany yourself into our new magazines right there," she politely said before leaving me.

After getting my order, I rode in my car to get back to the penthouse where Mirana was.

I'm about to enter the living room when I smelled something nice and my stomach growled. My feet let me walk through the kitchen and I was shocked by what I witnessed, Mirana was cooking in the kitchen. Her hair was messy in a bun with her apron that was spilled of sauce. Her looks made her even sexier.

But I know he doesn't know how to cook but I haven't thought about it. I walk into her direction and hug her tightly and place a kiss into her neck that makes her gasp.

"He's here already? I'm not done yet cooking," I nervously said as I slice the onion and garlic after preparing the sauces and vegetables.

I gasp when someone grabs my waist and planted a kiss into my neck. I was ready to smack him when I heard him call my name.

"Mirana," he whispered huskily into my ears that sent shivers into my spines.

"A-adam you're here early. I'm not done yet cooking, so why don't you sit there and wait until I finished c-cooking," I said awkwardly as I remember what happened last night.

"When did you learn how to cook?" he asked, which confused me.

"Learn? I know how to cook Adam," I smiled which makes him frown.

"O-okay," he said.

"Oh, I nearly forgot I bought food from the F&B Restaurant. I have their specialties and of course kare-kare," he added as he shows me what he bought.

"I don't eat that much because I'm allergic to it. "

He frowned on what I had said but it faded and replaced it with a smile.

"Okay sorry I forgot. Call me when it's ready to eat. I'll go upstairs to take a shower."

"Okay, I will," I smiled at him.

I was in the shower when I recalled what she had said. I know she doesn't know how to cook and she's not allergic to anything. But maybe within two years, she will be able to cook well and she may be allergic.

After taking a bath I walk through my closet when my eyes catch something red stain in the bedsheet. Is this coming from her? I didn't bring any other women to my house. There are so many questions running on my mind. But I should observe first before questioning her or it is just a coincidence.

Somebody knocks on the door.

"Adam lunch is served. Let's eat," she said after knocking.

"Okay sweetheart!" I shouted back.

"You have nothing to doubt her Adam," I thought before looking in the mirror.

"Here, let me serve you," she volunteered.

"Such a sweet of you," I smiled at her.

"So how's your meeting?" she asked while serving me a drink.

"It runs fine and I'm tired. I don't get enough sleep this past few days," I replied as I get the table napkin.

" Eat first before you rest. I know you didn't eat this morning. The next time you wake up please wake me up too so I can help you if there's anything you need and I'm going to cook for you, " she smiled.

I look at her for a minute not believing what she is saying. The Mirana I know is hated when she wakes her up early in the morning just to prepare breakfast, that's why he always cooks her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But I just put them away first.
