C9 Meeting A D+ Rank One Eyed Frost Ape
"The target has gained the help of the Alexander family but that shouldn't change anything, kill them all and eliminate the target at all costs" The leading purple cloaked figure said in a voice that could send chills down someone's spine as they followed the group.
Meanwhile the targets were already encountering monsters which were easily taken care of, Felix knew that he could gain experience from killing these minsters but he wanted a monster that could challenge him raise his battle intent so he left these for the others who finished off these monsters easily without even using their abilities.
The others stared at Felix weirdly especially pig face who looked at him smugly because he thought Felix wanted to act mysterious but he didn't know that even if he acted normal, to others he would be mysterious.
Connor just smiled like he knew what he was thinking, he also wanted to fight a monster that could challenge him so he only watched as the others finished off the monsters but slowly they progressed deeper into the forest and they also met stronger monsters.
"That's a F+ rank Two winged flaming panther, let me fight it" Felix said as his eyes lit up, he was already bored of waiting around and he wanted to gain experience so when he saw this monster, he claimed it for himself but before he could, pig face rushed towards it as he took out a black sword.
He hacked the sword at the panther which dodged it easily and swiped it's claws which were covered in purple flames at his face, seeing that his attack had failed, he switched to defence and blocked the attack with his sword.
Crack
A huge crack appeared on the sword and slowly spread across it, a look of disbelief spread across his face when he saw his F rank sword destroyed easily.
When the panther saw that he was distracted, it immediately followed up with another attack and this time, pig face couldn't dodge it so he raised his hands to block it and closed his eyes as he awaited the attack but when he didn't feel anything, he opened his eyes and met the panther's claws only a few inches away from his face but it wasn't moving and that was when he saw the dagger which was stuck in its skull.

"Next time I say it's mine, it's mine, can't even kill a F+ rank beast, useless" Felix said coldly as he took out the dagger that was impaled in the head of the panther but inside he was happy, he had just gained 200xp and he was now at level 5.
The others were staring at Felix in shock but pig face was staring at him in fear because he had used a single attack to end the life of a F+ rank beast, he now understood the meaning of Connors words.
"Let's go, there are still more deep inside, we are almost at the center" Connor said to ease the tense atmosphere as Felix took out the core of the panther.
They continued for hours, moving and killing monsters as they went and anytime they sensed a large horde of monsters, they immediately diverted but the one who killed the most was Felix who killed any high ranking monster he identified and he said as now at level 9 only a little bit more to reach F+ rank but still he wasn't satisfied because non of them had used their ability and he knew that since they were friends of Connor, they would have good abilities.
"There us something strange going on, we have just reached the center but we have already met several F+ rank monsters, if that is the case then we may actually meet several E rank monsters at the end" Felix said as they reached the center of the forest.
"Thay may be true but the only reason why that would happen is if a treasure has appeared" A guard said as his eyes lit up at the thought of treasure.
"If that is the case then it will be more dangerous if we go deeper, we may actually meet a horde of E rank monsters" George the most mysterious one and the only one that hadn't fought against a monster said.
"What, you afraid George?" Pig face who seemed to take pleasure in infuriating people said with a grin but immediately turned away after receiving a threatening glare from George.
"The risk is very high but the reward is also high so what should we do, should we go back or progress?" Connor said with his smile as he glanced at the faces of everyone.
"Did you know about this?" Felix asked Connor suspiciously.
"Why are you always so paranoid, of course not" Connor said with a grin as he stared at the sky.
"I don't think we can go back" Felix said in a low voice.
"Why is that?" Connor asked in surprise.
"I think we are being followed" Felix said quietly as he took out one of his daggers and pretended to say something about it.
"You sensed them too?" A guard asked in shock and he wasn't the only one, the others had sensed it but they weren't sure but after seeing the look of shock on each others faces, they realized that they were right but they were surprised that a F rank could sense it clearly and they couldn't.
"What should we do, should we confront them or pretend that we haven't sensed them and then ambush them" Pig face said and the others were surprised because what he said was actually sensible.
"Looks like you are not an idiot after all" Felix said with a grin as the others laughed but then regained their serious expressions.
"We don't know how many they are so to confront them would be foolish so I suggest that we ambush them"
"I have a plan and for it to work, you have to trust me, act normal" Felix said with a cold smile as he whispered his plan to them, they all nodded with menancing expressions then progressed deeper into the forest.
As they walked and wandered, they saw various monsters, fruits and precious flowers which radiated pure energy but suddenly the ground started trembling heavily.
"What is that?" Red asked in fear as the ground trembled so heavily that he found it hard to stay put.
"What the... I think it's a, RUN, RUN NOW" Felix placed his hand in the ground in order to sense the vibrations then suddenly his eyes shrunk as his face turned pale and he shouted.
Immediately after shooting, he shot forward at a speed invisible to the naked eye and the others followed but they didn't know why until they climbed onto the tree and looked into the distance after running for some time.
"Is that a beast horde, I have never seen such a large beast horde before" Pig face said with fear because all he could see was a huge large dot moving towards them with lightening speed.
"From the aura, they horde seems to be made up of F, F+ and E rank beasts, they are headed towards the slums and someone needs to warn them or else these could cause so. e major damage" Felix said as he stared at the approaching black dot which was growing bigger.
"Yes and that's what we are going to do, let's go" Connor said with urgency as he urged them to leave.
"At the rate at which it's moving, we won't reach there on time" Felix said again as he placed his two daggers in his storage ring.
"So what are you trying to say?" George asked with furrowed brows.
"I am saying that someone has to stay behind to create some time for the others" Felix replied as he stared at the sky.
"Oh and who is stupid enough to stay behind and sacrifice himself?" Pig face asked sarcastically.
"I will stay behind" Felix said as he took out a beautiful bow which radiated a terrifying intent of lightening.
"You can't do that, you will only be able to stall them for some time and even if you do, there is a 80% chance that you will die, are you ready to take that risk?" Connors guard asked.
"Yes I am, no one else can do this, I have a plan that only I can use, it was nice knowing you" Felix said with a smile as his figure faded and he disappeared.
"How did he do that?" F-rank asked in surprise.
"It doesn't matter, we have to move, since he has already made up his mind, he should have at least 40% certainty or he wouldn't have done this and did you see the bow in his hand, it is at least E rank or maybe even E+ rank, we shouldn't make his sacrifice in vain" Connor said with a smile as he left with the others.
Felix had used the camoflague ability which he had upgraded with his system points, there were three reasons why he didn't want to leave, first he didn't want to leave when there was such a large amount of experience approaching him second, he already had a good plan and lastly, he was interested in the treasure and why the monsters were attacking.
He climbed onto a sturdy tree, took out an arrows and nocked them on the bow then waited, when the black dot became clear, he almost turned back and fled when he saw the huge beast horde but he calmed himself and aimed at the first F rank beast he could find them released the arrow which turned into a miniature lightening bolt.
The arrow was moving at such a fast speed that the F rank beast couldn't dodge it in time and could only watch as its head was destroyed by the arrows.

"Finally, it feels great being a F+ rank, I wonder what rank I will be when I finish" Felix said with a smile as he felt his strength increase and his body become lighter.
He nocked another arrow after moving to another location but then shook his head, he knew that firing one arrow at a time couldn't stop anything so he thought of something and a smile flickered across his face.
"System, you just said that I have unlocked the store feature right?, how much will an archery skill cost?" Felix asked with a smile because he wanted to see the might of a system skill.

"Yes buy it and use the remaining system points to upgrade it" Felix said with a smile and immediately, he felt a stream of energy flowing through his body and he suddenly felt like the other times he was using his bow were crude.
He waved his hand and 6 arrows appeared then nocked it, he aimed towards the sky and fired then immediately nocked another six and fired, nocked another six and fired then moved to another location.
After he finished, he was bombarded by system notifications, all his arrows had hit their targets and instakilled them.

He received 18 of those messages and AA he glanced at his experience bar, it was left with only a little more for him to advance to level 11 so he continued with his strategy until every F rank beast was dead.
If anyone saw this scene, they wouldn't know what to think, there were at least 200 bodies littered around but if one looked carefully, they would find out that they were killed by a single arrow straight to their vital parts.
At this time he had earned 20,000xp and he was at level 15, that was half of the F+ rank but now was the second part of his plan, he deactivated his camoflague ability and was immediately spotted by F+ ranks who had been searching for whatever was killing their friends and when they did, they rushed towards him but he was already prepared, he also turned and led them away from the direction of the slums and since they were too engrossed in revenge, they didn't notice that they were diverted away from their intended target.
"We have to make a new plan, the target managed to get away, we failed the mission, wait what the.. " The leader of the purple cloaked assassins said with rage, they had been distracted by the beast horde so they didn't know when their targets had gotten away but now they could see someone rushing towards them and it was only when he was a few meters away from them that they had identified the person as the target.
"Why is he coming towards us?" The leader asked himself because it seemed strange that he would lead himself into their trap but it didn't matter since he was alone.
"Capture him if you can or otherwise kill him" The leader shouted as they rushed towards him but they had only moved when they saw the smile on his face and immediately he felt a bad feeling about it but it was too late.
Felix disappeared and behind him, a huge horde of monsters appeared behind him, the monsters had been following the human for so long that their rage had reached anotger level but when they had almost caught up to him, he had disappeared but before them was a small group of humans so they decided to release their anger on them, at first the assassins managed to fight back the monsters but unfortunately they were too many and were killed.
Meanwhile the main culprit was standing on a tree not far from the location with a cold smile, he had seen everything and he was about to start farming once again when all the monsters bowed down and a giant ape appeared.
When Felix saw this ape, his eyes shrunk because he had identified this huge ape with one glance, this was a D+ rank One Eyed Frost Ape, this apes were one of the strongest D+ rank beasts because they had the faint bloodline of the SSS rank Ancient frost Ape.
He was thinking of how to escape when the Ape glanced at his direction with its one eye and immediately he looked into its eye, he lost control over his body and at that same moment, all the monsters rushed towards him.
