When Rem saw this, he smiled and rejoiced inside. With this increase in strength, he can feel more assured about his safety. After all, Rem only wanted to live peacefully.
He wasn't someone who wants world domination or something along that line. Rem only wanted strength for self protection.
Rem then used the skills Hiding Shadow, Camouflage, and Silent Steps. He did this to see if he can escape the detection of those in the Saint Rank.
'System, will those in the Saint Rank be able to detect me if I use these skills?' Rem asked.
'No host, with these skills you'll be undetected by those in the Saint Rank and below except for those that can counter these skills.' When Rem heard this, he was happy because he can start his plan of reading the skill books and spell books from the academy without being detected.
Each branches of the academy has there own libraries where they can keep the skill books and spell books. With Rem's year level, he can't read the books from those within the Grandmaster books and above. He even planned to sneak inside each of the library before but he got some information that one student did this before in the Sword Branch, and got killed by the Saint Rank guarding the castle.
Thankfully, he can now sneak inside the library to duplicate these books for him to read. Rem planned to duplicate these books, and then bringing the duplicated copies to the Pocket Dimension. Currently, the library inside the Pocket Dimension has books up to the Master rank skills and spells.
Rem immediately tasked his clone inside the academy to sneak inside the library, and start duplicating the books inside one by one. Even though he can only duplicate five books a day it was okay because he has more time to spend on.
While Rem was checking his powers, his new slaves were shivering from fear. They were already afraid of Rem earlier because they were tortured by the clone but now they can feel that their master has become more terrifying.
"You two demons, and draco girl come with me." Rem said to which the three slaves quickly followed with fear written on there faces. The draco girl though has feelings fear and respect toward her master. Dragons has huge respect for those who are strong, and that trait was passed down to the draco race.
Rem came out of the mansion, and took them to the training grounds.
"You rest first at the side, little girl. Also, what's your name?" Rem said to the draco slave.
"I'm named Reva, young master." The little draco girl said.
"Reva, rest for now and later you'll have to teach me about the soul cultivation later." Rem said, and Reva followed.
"Now, how about you two demons? What's your names?" Rem asked to the two demons which was a lady and a man. They would look the same as humans if they didn't have those bat wings, and tail. Also, they have many tattoos that are on there body.
"I'm Dima and she's Dina, and we're siblings." The guy said.
"Alright, you Dima and Dina will teach me about the Abyss Tattoos. I want to know everything, and how do I make myself have those tattoos." Rem said.
"Yes, young master. The Abyss Tattoos are the demons unique way of strengthening ourselves. This tattoos are easily created, and all that you need to do is to carve this symbol." Dina explained, and showed the bare back of Dima.
The tattoo looks like a star, and it also has some strange symbols that looks like the forbidden symbols but this time when Rem looked at it, he didn't felt that his mind being ripped to shreds. He only felt a dark and sinister aura coming from it.
"What's this symbol called?" Rem asked.
"It's called the Demon God's Tattoo or commonly known as the Abyss Tattoos. Having this tattoo makes one be a member of the demon race." Dima said while wearing his shirt.
"What does this Abyss Tattoos do then?" Rem asked.
"It's only helps us increase our strength by killing others. When we kill someone, the target's soul will be extracted from there body which will then go to the Abyss Tattoos. This process will then help our body grow stronger. It's just that simple." Dina said.
"So in short, you only raise your power by killing. Also, if I carve my body with the Abyss Tattoos then I'll be considered as part of the demon race. In the end, I can't use this technique." Rem said sadly.
