C80 Forging Test

Even though Rem's clone chosen the Grandmaster test, it doesn't mean that he'll eventually have a higher position in the association. The Blacksmith Association's has a ranking of each person who joined the association. The ranks are Outer Member, Inner Member, Core Member, Elder, Grand Elder, Vice President, and President.

If Rem's clone passes the Grandmaster test, then he can be a Core Member immediately. He'll have many benefits when he achieves this like getting rare ores, items, and so on. Also, those items will be free. But of course, the association won't be giving free gifts without getting some benefits for themselves. Each month, a member will need to give any weapon or armor that corresponds to the member's rank.

Rem's clone then passed the form to the dwarf after he was done writing.

"Here's the form!" Rem's clone loudly said.

"Okay, lad. Oh! You have chosen the Grandmaster test! You sure about this, lad!?" The dwarf loudly replied.

"Yes!" Rem's clone answered.

"Alright! You have to pay 100 Spirit Stones since you'll be using rare materials for this test! But if you pass the test, you won't pay anything and you'll be able to keep the thing you forged! Wait for me, and I'll be calling the examiner!" The dwarf said, and then went inside the door behind him.

After a few minutes, the dwarf returned with another dwarf holding a hammer, and the new dwarf looks like in a bad mood.

"Is this the guy who disturbed my forging!?" The dwarf holding a hammer asked.

"Yes!" The dwarf earlier answered.

"Hmph! He looks like a scammer! How can he be a Grandmaster Blacksmith with his arms being thin as a stick!?" The dwarf holding a hammer ridiculed.

"You'll know if I'm a scammer if I failed! This is my 100 Spirit Stones!" Rem's clone said, and passed a small bag containing Spirit Stones inside to the dwarf earlier.

"Hmph! We'll see if you're really able to do it as you said!" The dwarf holding the hammer said.

"I'll prove it to you but let's make a bet! If I succeed, you'll have to give up your position in association to me!" Rem's clone taunted.

"Then if you fail, you'll be paying me 1,000 Spirit Stones!" The dwarf said. He was confident that Rem's clone will fail.

"Fine!" Rem's clone replied.

"Good! Follow me!" The dwarf said, and then climbed the stairs. Rem's clone followed the arrogant dwarf, and they soon arrived inside a forging room.

"Your test will be about creating a 6th Rank weapon! You'll have 5 hours to finish the task! The needed materials are in the table! Hmph! I can't wait for the 1,000 Spirit Stones from you!" The dwarf taunted after saying his instructions.

"You should be ready to prepare your things to leave the association later since I'll surely win!" Rem's clone taunted back, and started to forge. The dwarf only sneered when he heard what the clone said.

Rem's clone chosen to forge a sword, and he then copied the skills of the dwarf behind him. The dwarf has the skill Monarch Blacksmith, and an inherent skill called Blessed Forging Hands. Thankfully, the dwarf has a low cultivation rank or else he won't be able to copy the dwarf's skills.

Rem's clone then knew why the dwarf was very arrogant. The Blessed Forging Hands was actually a heaven defying skill, it actually makes the holder of the skill be able to have a 30% chance to increase the rank of the item one is forging. The materials inside the room can only make a 6th Rank weapon or armor but with this skill, one has a chance to make it into a 7th Rank item. The Instant Mastery Copy and Paste Function then made the skill reach the max level, and now the skill has 100% chance of increasing the item's rank by two times.

'The dwarf might have a high position inside the association' Rem's clone thought while smiling inwardly when he learned the skills that the dwarf had.

Rem's clone then started to forge the sword seriously, and delicately. After 4 hours, Rem's clone finished creating the sword. The sword then lighten up, and the dwarf behind Rem's clone was surprised because this phenomenon was common to him. This light was actually the Blessed Forging Hands skill making the weapon increase in rank.

"How can this happen!?" The dwarf shouted loudly.

The light enveloping the sword faded away after a few minutes. The sword looked the same as before but one can feel a terrifying aura from it. The sword was supposed to be a 6th Rank sword but now it was an 8th Rank sword.

The dwarf behind Rem's clone quickly run towards the sword, and trembled when he touched the sword.

"An 8-8th R-Rank... S-Sword!?" The dwarf shouted loudly while Rem's clone only smirked.

"I passed the test so you should pass your position to me now!" Rem's clone said.

"I can't do that! I'm one of the Grand Elders of the association! How about I give you a rank of an Elder instead!?" The dwarf said pleadingly.

"Nope! I want the Grand Elder position!" Rem's clone replied. Rem's clone would've be nice if the dwarf treated him nicely. He didn't like the attitude of the dwarf, and besides he might retaliate after Rem's clone gave him a chance. Also, the world doesn't need such people in it, and it's better to eliminate such people before they harm more people in the future.

"No! I'll give you some of my rare ores instead!" The dwarf said.

"Nope!" Rem's clone replied.

"You! I'll fucking kill you then!" The dwarf shouted madly. He then used the sword Rem's clone forged to kill the clone but of course Rem's clone easily dodged it since the dwarf was weak. The clone then smacked the dwarf's hand making the dwarf drop the sword.

Rem's clone then catched the sword, and pointed the sword on the dwarf's neck.

"Should we still continue!? Take out a paper, and write a testament that you're giving your Grand Elder position to me or else my hand might slip up!" Rem's clone coldly said.

"Y-Yes! Yes! R-Right away!" The dwarf said while trembling.
