A year has passed again, and this time Rem's body cultivation didn't increase in rank but his mental cultivation and soul cultivation increased in rank. His mental cultivation has reached the 4th Rank while his soul cultivation reached the 3rd Rank.
The Soul Orb was now useless for Rem since it can only help him reach the 3rd Rank soul cultivation. Rem can make another soul contract with a monster, and he decided to catch the third monster this month.
White and Black also improved this time, and they are now 4th Rank monsters. White can now divide itself into 4 clones making him able to duplicate 4 things at the same time. Black also learned a new skill called Shadow Enchantment.
The Shadow Enchantment skill was a support skill that makes one weapon and armor be enveloped in shadow. This shadow has corrosive elements so it increases one's attack and defense.
Also, Rem's skill Saint Swordsmanship was gone, and replaced by the Weapon Master (Saint) skill. Also, all his secret skills related to the Saint Swordmanship was all replaced by new ones.
The Sword Bone turned into Weapon Bone. It was like the previous skill but this time he can use his bones to attack and act as any type of weapon. While the Sword Realm and Weapon Domain turned into Weapon Master's Realm. It made him able to use weapon skills anywhere within 500 meters around him. Also, any enemies within the range of the skill will lower there weapon proficiency by 1 Rank.
Not only that but Rem also learned a new secret skill called Weapon Master's Asura Arms. This skill makes Rem summon 4 more arms around him. This arms are made up of heavenly essence, and they can automatically attack without needing to be controlled.
He tried using it, and it uses 2/3 of his heavenly essence and it can only last for 30 minutes. So this skill can be considered as a secret card, and can only be used when he's in danger.
Next, His Grandmaster Pentadeca Spells has reached the Monarch Pentadeca Spells. He then learned another new secret skill called Heavenly Spell Creation. This skill makes him able to cast Intermediate Spells and below without needing to use his own heavenly essence in his body. This time, he will only need to use the heavenly essence around him to cast Intermediate Spells and below. This skill makes him save up the heavenly essence in his body.
It was common knowledge that one can't control and use the heavenly essence outside of one's body. One can only control and use the heavenly essence in there body, and that was also the only way to use spells.
Rem's clone was finished copying every book of the Warrior department, and he was almost done copying the books in the Mage department.

Rem's attack power is almost the same as the attack of an Saint Rank cultivator. Not only that but Rem was also starting to collect various information about what is the above the Saint Rank.
Fortunately, he was successful. Rem learned that above the Saint Rank is called Grand Saint Rank. Reaching that rank is quite hard since one needed to make his body, mental, and soul cultivation reach the Saint Rank before being able to reach the Grand Saint Rank.
After completing those requirements, one needed to combine one's body, soul, and mind into one entity. He'll then achieve the Grand Saint Rank when one acquires the body called Origin Body. The benefits of achieving this is being able to make one's body un-aging so basically one can be immortal except if one encounters illness, or be wounded gravely which will cause death.
Rem then discovered that the emperor was actually a Grand Saint Rank cultivator. When Rem heard this, he became wary of the emperor even more. The emperor was actually hiding his strength to the people around the empire. Also, only a few people in the higher ups knows about this, and that includes his father.
Anyways, Rem didn't think about this problems for now. He knows that it'll take more time before he achieves the Grand Saint Rank. Besides, he haven't even reached the Saint Rank on his three cultivation methods.
He'll have to get information where to get Soul Orbs besides the Draconic City, and he also needed to find the forbidden symbols for the 8th Rank and above.
Anyways, Rem will find those things in time. For now, he'll just focus on other things.
His slaves in the Pocket Dimension has improved again, most of them are 4th Rank cultivators while a few of them are 6th Rank cultivators.
Also, the Dobot-1 has improved and they are comparable to 4th Rank warrior cultivators now. They can also transform into any weapon now.
The research team also invented a new bomb called Sleepsis Bomb. It's function was to explode smoke that contains sleeping and paralysis effects. The bomb was effective for 7th Rank and below cultivators. They knew this because they tried it on Frost and Ember. They are both 7th Rank warrior cultivators now.
